About the Guest
Arun Balakrishnan has dedicated his professional journey to entrepreneurship and leadership, amassing over 15 years of experience in initiating and managing start-ups within the insurance sector.
Arun's entrepreneurship journey began with the establishment of an online insurance aggregation start-up in India, laying the groundwork for subsequent endeavors. Notably, he assumed the role of CEO for Berkshire Hathaway India, overseeing the launch of Indian insurance operations until Berkshire Hathaway's departure from the Indian market in 2013. Viewing this transition as an opportunity for deeper industry immersion, Arun, alongside two former Berkshire colleagues, co-founded Xceedance in 2013.
Beyond his responsibilities at Xceedance, Arun actively engages in startup investments, both as an angel investor and as a limited partner in various venture capital firms.
A graduate in nautical sciences, Arun furthered his education by earning a master's degree in business administration from the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad.

Sir, main mera chota baby (3yrs) ka naam main MF main investment karna chahata hoon..lekin.. fund like HDFC, ICICI etc main online minor invesment ka option nahi hain, customer care main call kar ne bol raha hain, AMC Branch main visit kar ne k liye.. jo ki mere ghar se more than 500km door main hain.. any solution or aisa koi AMC jo below 18 ka online portfolio create karta hain..
I would like to suggest you sir. Keep your podcast interesting and to the point and fill it with some energy also. It was kind of boring in my perspective although it was very useful information the person was giving it was not engaging any where. But because it is first time. Great attempt.
