It looks like some Resta-Jay made in France
kinda look like the multi tone van sices from vic firth
you cheated, the play the alternating right mallet, left mallet in two octaves at 44 seconds, you played it with one hand
It's not indicated in the original sheet music what sticking should one use, so anyone's free to choose the way that works for him.
