Thanks brother I even remove already my oil pan a/c compressor alternator and pulleys but I want to continue with my protect by asking you as your profesional opinion about that cover because I don't want to continue pulling bolts out and create any issue so I really appreciate it brother.
Andrés Thompson just go for it and remove all the bolts,just if you want mark them with some sort of color and where they go because sometimes are longer than others other that that you are good to go!!! Fixing cars is always a learning experience 👍
How about the actual external fly wheel by the passenger side, i am not seeing any external pointer or markings on flywheel to determine if timing is off. 03, 3.3 nonflex, Caravan Sport. I have a crank but no start situation. So can't check it while its running.

Andrés Thompson hello how is it going? And is your engine in the jeep? To remove the timing chain you have to remove all the accessories attached on the front of the engine,then the timing cover just don't forget the bolts that holds the timing cover with the oil pan
Hey compa my town and country 3.8 cranks no star. I replaced plugs, wires and coil still no start. I can here the fuel pump run and the plugs have fuel on them. How do I check timing? Or any ideas what can Be wrong? Thanks
Make sure u have spark and gas into the cylinders, if you have that do a compression check! If plugs are too wet that means there is not spark or too much gas going into the cylinder and gets flooded
I just replaced my timing set on 05 3.8 grand caravan everything was aligned but the plated links dont match back up with the dots when I rotate the crankshaft no matter how many times I turn it how do I correct this issue

Technically #1 is not at TDC, cuz if u had the lifters on u would know its on the tdc exhuast stroke
So after seeing it's off in timing how do u actually correct?

Since the 3.8 (block) from an 07 caravan is the same from the 3.8 07 Wrangler. Do they share the same timing?
Honestly dont want to lie but sounds like they are the same! Only difference should be different tuning
