what hitch do you use for this take 3 low profile trailer? i am looking to buy a similiar trailer to haul 3 cars, i have already removed the bed off my 2021 ram dully 3500. now next step is just measuring the height of the hitch to match the trailer before buying the trailer. which hitch do you reccomend, will be hauling 3 cars 12gvwr under 12k curb weight, plus the trailer which is 5500. which hitch would you reccomend for that, which hitch do you use???
i am debating whethere i should go with a wedge or one of these low profile trailers? what are the pros and cons of both. i understand getting a low profile trailer takes taking the bed off, and adjusting the height propertly of the hitch height of the 5th wheel. but overall great trailer low profile easier to drive, best fuel economy, ability to take those higher height trucks since your lot lower to ground. also safer to drive because of vision throught the rear mirror, along with less sway, because the cars are higher up catching wind, and swaying more. any advantages to a 3 car wedge vs a profile trailer besides less cost of removing bed and setting up 5th wheel.
Well The low profile does have those advantages but it has some disadvantages other than just the bed removal. You cannot have anything mounted on the back of the truck like tool boxes. This means any tools like Jack's and hand tools have to go somewhere else. You can oder these low pros with a toolbox but they are not very big like a truck tool box. Also when turning the low pro has a little less radius because the trailer will impact on the lower cab in a hard backing turn. You are right about hauling high top vans on a wedge. Clearance becomes an issue with vans like the Ford Transit high top. Fuel mileage does suffer with a backed on pick up on the top but anything else doesn't make a big difference. Cars fowrad already have slippery front surfaces. It really come down to the bed removal so if you are never going to use the truck as a truck again low is good.
Yes, it is available as of this communication. They are 7K axles. The total GVWR is rated at 12K for the reason of Hotshoting. We have weekly, monthly and you can even lease it long term.
We actually only rent/lease to trucking companies with 6 months or more history of their authority, 6 months of consecutive insurance coverage, accidents listed on the FMCSA and are incorporated in the Southeast, FL, GA, AL, MS, SC, NC.. We do have a Kaufman 4 car top deck as well as 11 more trailers from 3 to 5 cars, this is the only one we have available at this time.

I wonder if a trailer saver air ride Fifth wheel hitch would work on your truck I have a 22k on my truck
Just use grip paint. It looks like a gritty paint , almost like a sand textured
