True story: As a hotel manager, I once received a call from a guest who said that "the people next door were being TOO LOUD and originally didn't want to say anything, but even with the highest volume on the TV, they could still hear them and his kids were beginning to ask questions!". Considering he didn't wanna have to explain to his kids what was going on on the other room, he asked if there was ANYTHING we could do about it...With no other choice I said I would do my best and as luck would have it, the person next door creating all that "noise" happened to be a "regular" (whom I was familiar with) so without further hesitation, I gave him a call and excused myself for doing so, but explained that there was a family next door with kids, and while we didn't want to ruin their time and their experience, I kindly needed to asked them if they could keep it "quiet". He laughed it off and apologized and said "they would". I didn't get any other phone calls right after that, perhaps they kept it quiet, or perhaps the other guests just didn't wanna call it in again! It was embarrassing nonetheless, but I never dealt with another situation like that. At a different location however, I once heard some guests while I was walking around the premises and let me tell you!...I felt sorry for that girl!😳 Let's just leave it at that! I wouldn't even wanna imagine!🙈
