    I couldn’t figure out why Amazon suggested seatbelt buckles together with this item. It makes sense now 😂

    Stellar review man!!! I’ve had one for a few years, and loved it but I thought I lost it :-( I recently found it in a dry bag I had on a previous trip so back to it. Just used my Z poles with it today..perfect! My adjustment straps/buckles in the front never had the loosening issue you described, maybe they changed the buckle since then? Anyway, great review…have subscribed…thanks!!

    Great review. This is more of a training pack though. In Canada most races require an extensive list of items you need to have with you so a vest is the way to go for the storage.

    Fantastic review! I was just hesitant on the slipping issue, but if there are ways to make it work, it looks pretty much perfect.

      Yep, the slipping is pretty bad, but those clips fix it. I tried EVERY way possible to not use another piece of gear to fix it, but there's just no way to tie, wrap, or loop the straps in any way to fix it. I actually thought about sewing velcro to the straps, which actually may work nicely, but the clips are a non-altering item and I preferred that.

    I have the one bottle version somewhere on the bottom of my junk drawer. I even bought the lumen ally attachment I saw on sale. My idea was to somehow attach Skillhunt H04 torch, which you can get really cheap. One clip clicks ok but the second was loose so I wrapped electric tape around the torch and it seems secure enough. However when running, the beam would dance all around as the belt loosens every 20 m which I find annoying. I sort of gave up on it but now that I've seen your trick, I will give it one last try. Thanks mate!

      God luck on the fix, I'm really hoping they address the issues on the upcoming models, whenever the heck they will be released. Good idea with the lumen ally as well, I still haven't talked myself into pulling the trigger on a purchase but will look into the skillhunt because that's much cheaper!

    I have a similar product. The Synaptic 2.0, basically a single bottle version of the Speedgoat. Same issues. I’ve also been looking for solutions for this. Currently, I’m trying to double back the webbing into the buckle.

    I have both the 1 and the 2.0. I keep going back to the 1.0 because of the slipping. I’ll have to give those clips a try. Thanks

      No problem! I still use mine to this day, but it's definitely a pain when I get to a race and realize I forgot my clips lol. I also recently purchased the Synapse and it has the same issue, though not as bad considering there's only one bottle

    Do you use both seatbelt clips or just one?
    Thank you in advance.

    What if you want to wear a waist band light for night running?

    I quit using mine because of the slipping issue. I don't know how this product got released with such a major issue.

      Yep, it's hard to believe it passed any sort of product testing because it was evident right when I started using it.
      I read somewhere that if you contact the Ultrasipre they'll send you some hardware that supposedly fixes the issue. Those clips I showed fixed mine well enough, so I never followed up on that, but I may contact them out of curiosity.

    Is it annoying to have the poles strapped in the front for extended periods of time? Do they bounce around while running?

    • @FeetFirstAthletics
      @FeetFirstAthletics  ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope, the cords hold them tight and there's little to no bounce. The aluminum ztrek poles are very light though. The only annoyance was sometimes my hands would hit them as I was power hiking but while running my elbows are bent more so there's plenty of clearance.
