I love how the wise man who was really gung-ho, really excited, brought the gold ( straight forward, useful) the one who was more intellectual brought the frankincense ( philosophical) and that last guy who seemed to doubt, who did not want to come, reveals he understood more Than the other two. (I at least took his not wanting to journey to the star as a lack of faith at the beginning but now we realize he did not want to go because he knew the ending for the child of this prophesy and did not want to face its truth) his gift is the most important because when Mary goes with the other women to the tomb to use this unwelcome gift she finds the completion of the nativity.
✨In 2020, this Pandemic may remind us how Mankind should be truly thankful for this Wonderful Gift from Above as He had saved us from enslavement of sin. May the Lord continue to bless Humanity and guide us through amidst this health crisis, and show us the Light that will Heal All Nations. 🙏

The wise men from the east did not arrive when Jesus was born, they came later. Mary was impure for seven days after the birth of Jesus and thirty-three days not completely pure. She had to stay at home that long. Forty days after Jesus was born, Mary and her family had to go to the temple to consecrate Jesus as the firstborn to God and to make cleansing offerings. The visit of the wise men and the flight to Egypt cannot have taken place beforehand. Perhaps Jesus was two years old when the wise men came, because Herod had killed all boys in Bethlehem who were not older than two years. But in spite of all that it is a beautiful movie.

If you'd look closely at the three gifts, the appearance of the receptacles strikingly resemble key steuctures in modern day Jerusalem. The Gold resembles the Golden dome of the Dome of the Rock which is npw standing atop Temple Mount, site of the Temple of Jerusalem. The Frankincense resembles the belltower of the Anglican Church of Jerusalem, one of the tallest church belltowers in the Holy City. The Myrrh resembles ( correct me if I am wrong) the dome atop the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, site of Golgotha and the Tomb, the site of the Resurrection. Even the Magi who offered the myrrh has an agal that is strikingly different from the other 2. His white agal brings to mind a funeral shroud, much like the linen shroud that Christ+ will be wrapped in after His+ death.
GOD'S own Hand...could this Nativity have played out, if there HAD been a room at the inn? Next time your plans go awry...maybe SOMEONE has a Better Plan in mind...who knows?
