I have the “counterfeit” Ultimate Flame Wingman. It does suck to know it’s not an official Konami card but it’s still an amazing card to have and even better now knowing it’s unique history. It makes it more of a conversation piece rather than just a regular card
UPDATE: It seems that redemption Mist Body and Flute DO EXIST?! Someone just sent me some pics 😨 These are the cheapest ways to buy the products/cards in the video: Duel King II (Affiliate): ebay.us/hXw6M8 UDE Redemption Cards (Affiliate): ebay.us/YgxQVF
I kind of want to say they should grade these. Even though they are counterfeits, their situation is extremely rare and could be one of those “exceptions”. I don’t know. As you said, they are a big piece of history between UDE and Konami. Awesome video as always!
I remember picking up a blister similar to that one, although it wasn’t named Duel King 2, from Toys R Us for my birthday in 2008 and it came with the counterfeit Aqua Neos, Electrum, and Flute of Summoning Kuriboh
I have those two ultimate rare cards with silver stamps in my collection. I always wondered why the sticker was silver, but now that I know i'm pretty bummed about them now.
I honestly think because of the significance they have that they should grade them. Obviously they should mark them as the UDE counterfeits. But because of them being historic in the way they are I think they should.
Upper Deck was just simply doing what Komoney wants & that is make them money lol. Can't say they're "counterfeit" but it's Komoney's call. I feel like they should just forgive Upper Deck & let them go back printing YGO again! The game, cards, events & quality we're in better hands with UD printing them than how Konami ever since they started doing it themselves.
Even though these are strictly "counterfeit" I've always found it SO hard to 100% view them as fakes when they are made by the same company who printed the real ones.
@@StrictlySealed ah okay, now I see why the cards are so controversial. I always thought that Konami took over printing in 2008 and caused the fall in quality but I guess it was just simple cost cutting over time.
@@StrictlySealed how comes when UDE lost the partnership the printing of the cards changed? I prefer the classic look of yugioh cards up until TSHD I think it was
So i got some fake silver stamped cards from a guy who had a bunch. It was 5 cards in sleeves glued to a piece of cardboard. It was flame wingman, aqua neos, mist body, water dragon, and one other card I can't remember know. I also read the konami vs upper deck court case and apparently there were about 100 that were counterfeited. Personally I've only seen about 10 different cards.
Psa definitely shouldn't grade them. Only to keep the premium on cards already graded? Or maybe they should just put them in there own grade category with a clear distinction they are fake ? Either 1 also very helpful video thankyou
From a collector's standpoint these are counterfeit cards. But, what about from a competitors one? I've been wondering if it is legal to use a Upperdeck counterfeit UTR Flame Wingman or Aqua Neos at a official Konami Tournament. I had disagreement with at a card shop with the seller about these being counterfeits. He claimed that since Upperdeck had a legal contract with Konami at the time of these "Illegal" prints, it's a official Konami card. Would I need to talk with a official Konami representative to confirm these a counterfeits or legal to use at official Konami events?
@@manjackson2772 Exactly my point I made to the worker! He continued to insist it's still a Konami card and not a counterfeit. What's more, he is an official tournament judge as well. The card shop hosts tier 2 Konami tournaments.
Konami officially claim that these cards aren't legal prints and so they aren't tournament legal. It would be curious if Konami would allow them on tournament after being hit so hard back then.
I opened a brand new booster pack “infinite forbidden” and got a “dark magician of black magic” with no stamp all other cards had the stamp. I have pics and videos of the pull can anyone tell me what happened
the thing that gets me a little confused is the ulti wingman from TLM is the konami version in that set have a k on it or do i need to hard search fro a gold stamp instead of a silver stamp
Can you help me get the Konami mist body and flute of summoning. They do exist, you can find them on TH-cam videos. The rares are also a bit more than your price point. I know someone who sold the dragon around $250 as the cheapest.
I need to talk about this: Someone who didnt know Yugioh sold 23 LOB 1. Ed english booster packs on eBay today (in Germany on eBay "Kleinanzeigen". You chat with the people instead of straight up bidding). I offered 1k, he accepted at first, then somebody else offered 1.5k. Just 1 Minute after I told him 1.7k BUT HE ALREADY SOLD FOR 1.5K FUCK ME DUDE THAT COULD'VE BEEN THE BIGGEST F'N BARGAIN OF MY LIFE BUT THE DUDE JUST SOLD THEM RIGHT AWAY Looking forward to the video tho😂😭

I had no idea about the redemption series - mind blown 🤯
Thanks for explaining the redemption K cards too! I asked Scholast about them a few months back as I wasn’t sure what the hell they were lol

Psa had graded my flame wingman and it was a UDE. It was a PSA 6
I've neverrrrrrrr seen this product before growing up it looks amazing
Excited for this one!!!
I remember when the dispute between Konami and Upper Deck made a Card Shortage in Europe because of the distribution rights
I have those two ultimate rare cards with silver stamps in my collection. I always wondered why the sticker was silver, but now that I know i'm pretty bummed about them now.
Been waiting for your video on this!
You say they dont grade them but there was one of these silver stamp flame wingman ulti psa 10 for sale on ebay
I think PSA should grade them, and label them as “UDE counterfeit”

UDE didn’t print ygo cards only distributed them. Konami always printed the cards. Thanks for viewing the video.

Wish they did the Strike on Neos set as well so we could have had more Elemental Hero Air Neos cards !
i like the story behind flame wingman even if its not authentic maybe i get one in the future
My DDS Blue Eyes and GBI secret rare Egyptian god cards all have silver holo stamps instead of gold. Is this something they did with game promos?

Hi, i have in my collection a "Elemental Hero Aqua Neos" Ude (the eye of anubis is silver) PSA 9. What do u think?

If they were printed without Konami's authorisation, they're literally not official Konami cards

There are some insane top quality counterfeits right now, they look 100% legitimate, with gold stamps.
the thing that gets me a little confused is the ulti wingman from TLM is the konami version in that set have a k on it or do i need to hard search fro a gold stamp instead of a silver stamp
the counterfeit has a silver stamp and authentich has gold stamp?
So what’s the value of a true 1st Ed Flame Wingman?
Quite expensive in psa10 or just having a 1st ed original I just found out lol
@@NE_Slayyz I have an actual copy it was a graded PSA 8 I cracked it for my deck haha
Can you help me get the Konami mist body and flute of summoning. They do exist, you can find them on TH-cam videos. The rares are also a bit more than your price point. I know someone who sold the dragon around $250 as the cheapest.
Wait, so i have Aqua Neos 1st ed PSA9 silver stamp. Si that fake ? How in the world did PSA grade that card ?
Yes yours is fake. It was before they knew the difference. Thanks for viewing the video.
Oh crap…
I have a portuguese silver stamp flame wingman tlm-pt035 ultra rare, but it is not first ed. It is fake too???
Only 1st ed gets gold stamp. Thanks for viewing the video.
Does the silver stamp rule apply to Korean printed cards or is that a different story?
Different story. Thanks for viewing the videos.
Great video!
Would PSA grade the redemption cards ?
Nice video! I think PSA should stick to not grading counterfeit cards
Amazing Video 👍🏻
The mist body and flute do actually exist
I have a silver stamp yata garasu is it also fake?
No. Yata was not in this set
For nothing in the world PSA shall grade them, grade should be - FAKE TRASH,BUY REAL ONE.Thanks for the video

Kazuki, the creator of YuGiOh has died 😭😭
Yeah, think two weeks ago
I would not ever want PSA to grade fakes. Even good looking ones.
Lots of counterfeity at the 99 cents store
Yeah quality of the cards is really scary.
