F35 not going to Ukraine unless NATO gets involved, F 16s are more than capable multi mission aircraft even though they were designed in the 70’s. Sweden has f35s but are sending Gripens to Ukraine which are also extremely capable multi role aircraft

Clearly this guy isn’t aware the f35 can’t stay together in that climate, and there’s not enough water in Ukraine for the f35 submarine to operate. 16’s well that’s just another target.
Wrong. Old generation F 16s will come to Ukraine sometime this summer. We only share our new generation F 35s with our current partner nation allies.

@@eddymagielse4993the pilots are in training and they will be flying over Ukraine 🇺🇦 shortly. It takes a few months to train on these F 16s due to the avionics and the multiple million dollar price tag.
The Dutch ones are block 15 A's and B's with the Mid Life Update package which brings them close to block 40 standard.
Still very very capable and well maintained.

Cruel and misleading given the Russian invasion on the northern front. Ukraine's F-16, the oldest of the old, are not operantional yet, and Israel, and believe it or not, Switzerland have the most advanced F-35's. As the US, Germany and NATO evade the crucial descision as to whether send boots on the ground and planes in the air, Urkaine bleeds to death amidst the rubble of its cities.

Two years to train a person who is already a fast jet pilot, i smell bs. If it was any of the European countries facing invasion they would train pilots in months. They are stalling and dragging their feet.
Assessments on first pilots to do training is US was 4 months training needed. Reporting now saying first pilots have completed training in US and have now moved to Europe to get further training. No one is going to announce much more for op sec and you’ll just suddenly see F16’s over Ukraine or more probably some of their handy work !

It is not whether or not this is the most capable and modern aircraft out there but whether is is better than what the Ukrainians currently operate. Preferably it would also be better than anything the Putinists would dare to bring into the theatre. Signs are that even this version of the F16 with Amraam and Shrike and all types of GBU will do just fine. It all actually works and the pilots will be better.
