Thank you adding the clips. When I do box braids, sometimes the braid sticks up and I can’t figure out why. I paid close attention to the way you start the braid and the direction it went in. I do the same so I’ll just start clicking the roots after each braid.

So as a new learner, I had the issue of the front ones going upward, I see that maybe I need to invest in some clips for weight. I have a question, do you have to tie down the bottoms with bands? I did but found a lot of them breaking…maybe need better quality. Otherwise I learned a lot! Great job! On my next attempt I’ll take notes

Hey ive been planning to get braids or twists for the summer but i was wondering can i wash the hair often because i will be swimming would appreciate some help😊
Can you do a video on how you start the braid. I notice your hands hold the hair differently for the first few then you switch your hands. I hold my hands as you do even the at the start of the braid and I notice it’s not as tight, and it doesn’t start braid in the middle of the box, more at the bottom.

I’m also having troubles with ends. If one strand is shorter towards bottom I have to stop broad early and the bands are higher up with hair poking out bottom of rubber band.
