Fun fact: In Mephisto's hibernation stage, he has increased DEF and RES by respectively 2200 and 50, and a bit of HP regen. What does that mean? CEOBE FUN HOUSE OF COURSE! Yeah, she can burst Mephisto down using S2 twice while he hibernated and leave him with little HP, then you can finish him off with minimum gassing. Edit: Just don't outright kill him in that state or he'll respawn with 50% HP

These videos are a godsend! naturally adjusted to my own ops. but really helped me know what to expect and how to hopefully counter it (though my team wiped except for Kaltsit and Thorns around when mephisto got to the 4th position around the 55 kill point) worked out rather well ^^ couple attempts at most due to my own phone not working great. Something you might find useful if you happen to have an E2 Surtur: the damage Mr. Birdie takes in between stages, while regenerating, 1. it sticks after he wakes up again, and 2. it doesn't trigger mist damage Of course Lugia's strongly protected during his recovery, but if you unleash all Ragnarok on his sorry ass you can bite a good chunk of his lifebar away and avoid having to deal with one or two mist attack spams.

Seems like these bosses are getting harder and discourage you from simply bursting them to death and think more about the survivability of your operators and healing... Ouch
Bruh, this was sooo hard. Even with an almost full 6* E2 Lvl 69 Squad with all Skills M3 I needed 10 tries or so. This really is a stage you need to understand and it punishes you for trying to brute force it. In the end, Ptilopsis with her S2 was the MVP for sure.
I was dead to the spear dudes so much I has to search out this guide to see where to place my defender to block that shit. Gonna E2 my Hoshiguma next because she helped me clear this stage.

FYI Thorns at E2 20 is not enough. An enemy always leaks, and he will die without a better medic than Ansel. You really need high level Thorns, it seems.
Hey guys i just discovered that you can kill or greatly weaken Mephisto while he sleeps! I used Ifrit (s2) and Ceobe (s3) and i was like wtf when he woke up with 1/4 of health XD. Thanks Kyo for strategy
@@rifwann I managed to get surtr on my very last pull when I forced it to 50/50 and for some reason I managed to get Blemishine on my 5th pull despite I wasn't aiming to get her and I just wanted to pull for the guaranteed 10 pulls. I built and maxed out Surtr and she helped me pass Kazimierz major but now im too poor to build either Blemishine or Liskarm. I have to use Cuora and Gummy as tanks a little longer it seems. Not that I have a problem with them but they seemed like they started to die pretty often now.
I don't have a levelled up Jaye so I went with using Sutr, Eyja and SA, then I realised I was doing way too much too fast. Time to spend Orig to level up Jaye :(
I gambled and used Golden Schwing Schwing uncle to burst down the last quarter of his health. Thank God, my team managed to survive and kill the last bit of Sarkaz enemies after gettin farted on by the demon birb.
Ok so I followed this strat but I replaced Jaye with mon3tr and kaltsit s3 (why not?) and I kid you not, can easily get rid of mephisto's hibernation barrier and kill him after that
Try using Surtr s3 Her damage is very good and she can probably live long enough to kill Mephisto but she probably has to be in a higher level If you face her to the centurion and Mephisto, she can probably kill both. I might test this out later
having W makes this stage SO much easier cuz her mines stun the infected dudes and that makes it so you need less healing. So if anyone out there hasn't built Susuro (or doesn't have one, like me...), and they have W, USE HER.
Those bonethrowers keep shredding my defenses...I gave up and cheaped out by using Surtr to nuke them all the instant they come into the field, because fuck 'em!

From what I can tell, it confirms that Mephisto is a Liberi that takes the traits of a Caladrius (A mythical bird in Roman Mythology)

I happened to end his first phase in front of Ifrit and Ceobe. Activated Ceobe's S2, added Surtr and his hp bar disappeared in seconds

My e2lvl 61 Surtr could solo Mephistopheles both phases
Or just use Amiya S3 and do True damage. That works too.

Ptilo + Warfarin was enough to survive while Helidrop Squad S (Surtr, Skadi, Specter) took care of the pokemon

TFW You don't have Sussaro, Shirayuki, Click, Perfumer and Jay upgraded. Shirayuki is E1 Lvl 43, Perfumer E1 Lvl1 and the others are all E0 Lvl1.

Came her to find out the new boss mechanics, thanks. basically it lets out poison gas after you hit it, so stack heals, got it.

you can use Hoshi, Efjya, Ptilo and Ifrit for trust farm but for clear and unlocking EG-3 you must tweak it a bit
Honestly, I'm wondering if you can even do this stage on CM with Low stars. I think it's pretty hard from this point on honestly.

My strategy is to kill him in phase one then when he enters dormant state, steamroll him with good ol Surtr with 3 medic and amiya ceobe combo :v
