Thanks for this learning platform, my children are really enjoying the lessons; they’re using the greetings at home. The Esan alphabets in lesson 3 is great, I realised that I need it myself as am not good with Esan alphabets and writing. However, I feel the time frame to send you the recording is too short, as my children and I just watched the video few minutes ago. Just a suggestion, it will be nice to give people more time. Looking forward to more lessons. As requested, it will be nice to look at the greetings if that is okay (eg. Good-morning, good-afternoon etc). As greetings are very important in our Esan culture. Hope this help. May God almighty give you more grace to continue this good work.
Obulu for keeping me updated with your progress. You're now my current Star ⭐ Student. I'll respond to your question in a video as soon as possible because it will enable you to learn the pool pronunciation better.
Ami ooo to your prayer. Obulu for your lovely comments. Please let me know if you will be interested in exploring the Esan language Academy which was discussed in my interview with Sir Odiagbe.
@@AbleMabel I would have loved to. But, I am currently not in Nigeria.. I want each and everyone of us to try and put hands together in Raising our Language,, because many schools nw in Uromi hardly teach Esan which is totally wrong.... Even tho, they teach they wont take it serious... Many deep deep esan i know today are not from schools, rather i learnt dem from my Grand Mom... With the interview you had with Sir. Odiagbe, i must tell u, i also learnt somethings there which i am excited abt.. OBULU AUNTIE MABEL...
That's okay Blessed, the discussions on Esan Academy will be via Zoom or any other suitable medium to all participants. Technology has made working together across the globe easier than meeting in person. Please send me email: mabeljimawo@gmail.com so we can discuss further.
Pls Anty Mabel I'm frm Emu some People greet Aleha in some parts of Esan like Emu Okhuodua Okhuesan etc. pls do more research about greetings in other parts of Esan
That's a great idea 👍🏽 However, I'll suggest you ask any older person in your family or community because that's the best way to get the oral history on the regional variations in any language and cultural heritage. Please let me know of your findings because I believe, if we all do our bit we will save our beautiful Esan Language from extinction.
Thank you so much Aunt Mabel....I just decided to learn my language and found this. I have learnt new things so thank you. The greetings from the first lesson was Bodiaye......Ofure Okinbue (1 person) Bhakinbue (more than 1)
