I ride long and pretty wide skis (185cm vertically 110mm horizontally) I'm 5'9 130lbs and find no difference than any other ski, I ride mostly park too so it's pretty much preference on what you feel is best for you... And your skill level
my tricks to buy park ski: enter ski shop, ask ski for sale. buy a year old model. this year I brought line tom tallish 2022. last 2 pairs was liberty let. those was crazy.
Any tips for reasonably priced park/all mountain skis? I would say I'm beginner to intermediate in the park, but am advanced out of park. I live on the east coast so don't really need that much for powder capabilities. I would prefer skis on the stiffer side because that is always what I have rode, but would be open to a medium flex. Needs to be on the cheaper end, because I'm a high school student. I don't really know if there is anything out there that would work for me, just looking for something more park oriented as I am getting better at park.
What do you think of the Völkl Bash 81 for beginners in freestyle? I want a ski to carve pretty decent and to do jumps with. I don't want to do rails and boxes in the beginning that much.
When you’re first starting out in park, it’s not really a big deal what kind of park ski you get. One thing you want to make sure tho as a new park skier is that you have lights skis. Once you’ve been riding park for a while and have figured out your style, then you can pick what’s right for you. But by looking on evo it seems those are good skis. But honestly at that price range you might look at the honey badgers which by the way are pretty soft.
heyy man, I have a question, im starting park skiing after 7 years of reg skiing and i have experience, But now I want to head to the park. Im wondering what skis are good for beginners park skiers like me, without paying a crazy amount. what is a affordable park/freestyle ski in 2023-24?
It's practice i think, if you feel comfortable at smaller ramps, just make small steps untill you feel safe enough jumping a bigger ramp. If you're speaking about corks and stuff, i would practice everything on trampoline first so you know the trick really well before it's on a real ramp. I'm not a pro but i just take small steps to build up you skills, everyone started somewhere1 ;)
WenomArtz i use 163 line honey badgers and they are the most buttery poppy skis you'll ever use and their pretty affordable i would highly recommend them
I want to find a ski that can do well in difficult moguls and trees but can be fun and buttery in the park, what ski would the be because Im thinking ARV, or Volkl Bash
I have trash luck with line skis. I my chronics broke last season while doing a nose block and my honey badgers have recently gotten a cracked edge. I dont ride my skis particularly rough but I ride park all the time and they just have not survived the the test of time. Loved the way the lines ride but they just dont hold up just something to keep in mind
Evan Millspaugh all line skis come with a 2 year warranty if u bought it directly from line site. If u bought off of a secondary site like eBay or evo check with the warranty. Ski stores usually have warranty’s also
edge cracks happen dawg metal on metal action isnt good for edges and youre not gonna be able to warranty them under that either. I have pair of kartels that got an edge crack after about 30 days shit just happens
I wish on3p wasn't so expensive
same feelsbadman
Is on3p stiff or flexible?
If I were you I’d invest in a pair of kartels, they are AMAZING!
My dad just bough a pair of wrenegades so i was able to snag his kartels
Only 599$
Rocker camber rocker is the wave

yup perfect all-mountain/park combination, almost always

What skis do you ride
@@kevinbaker6147 all skis really ride the same. You couldn’t ever notice a difference between any of these park skis if you were “blindfolded”
Great info for newbie trying to find park skis for high school son. Thanks!
I guess I'm kind of off topic but do anyone know a good website to stream new tv shows online ?

I can't say man, I'm not an expert in skis. Haven't rode that many different styles!

This is a really good video. Thanks for not just giving a list

Thoughts on black crows captis?
not really designed for park
What about armada there made for park
Lefty11 only some of there skis
They are quite common at the park nowadays
Great video it was super helpful
my edges are always cracking and peeling off (by the end of every season), should i get on3p's since they have a thicker edge?
Ice Walloak Umloads That’s just how park skis are, hitting rails will do that, every park ski peels, it dose not effect anything tho
Nomad 95!! Best ski out there
Good vid man

Do normal rental skis make a huge difference vs park skis
Absolutely
You can still have lots of fun. The skis don’t really matter you just wanna be comfortable
Line for life!
Can't really say that, I tested a sick day and that was by far the worst ski I have ever been on...
rocker/camber is the shape of the ski it has nothing to do with the flexibility of the ski
I’m 5’10 and I ride a 130
What
K2 poacher
Just bought mine
O N are they good ?
Julien Cyr yes they are perfect for park because they are so stable in air
nice.
