I humbly request st Brigitte in three rosaries everyday It takes months and years but I am feeling a loving desire More every day. I’m talking years but it’s well worthwhile So many many many Saints are so close to us. It starts to Become an opening like a door that allows a perfume at times a Calmness hope safety surrounds me It’s coming to a crossroads as I’m all alone retired and melancholy Between choosing companionship and being alone in prayer Light cometh with st Brigitte and so many good saints with her Is it a parallel dimension? My father and my sister crossed it and am begging for my mother be allowed to cross also In hopes I can be forgiven It’s a struggle everyday I wake up and think I didn’t dream about anything I wanted to ? Then I just stare but need to be careful as anyone like me would easily be diagnosed as MR or unstable etc I suspect the world is entering another black era where real Catholics will Have to find other good Catholics homes to hide and even with a true traditional Latin Tridentine priest have mass!
Do you mean the 12 year prayer to St. Brigitte? I managed every day for a few years but I unfortunately gave up. I used to have five to seven particular prayers everyday. Now I only pray the rosary every day, though I can be very distracted in my own thoughts or by something on the internet (which I shouldn't be listening to at the same time anyhow.) Just makes it worse because what might have taken 20 minutes can take over an hour. I also pray another decade as I've been in a group since 1996 that we call the living rosary made up of mothers each praying a mystery of the rosary every day which progresses every month. I have stopped praying the St. Monica prayer which is for my children, but I felt I was rushing through it all the time and that made it meaningless. I of course pray for my children (They are adults, baptized when babies, but no first communion nor confirmation.) I'm actually in a terrible spiritual state myself. I have a grave and mortal sin I need to confess but I lack courage and wonder if I regret it enough. It doesn't count if you're not repentant. I have no confidence in my ability to resist if temptation returns. I will pray a decade of the rosary for you and your loved ones. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. You are making an act of the will to confess your sin and God sees that. No sin is beyond the love and mercy of God... and nothing, absolutely nothing is worth you being separated from God for all eternity. Reading your post, it sounds like you were well spiritually and now have faded. The devil seems to try all kinds of tricks the closer we get to God. Don’t worry. Keep your eyes fixed firmly at the Cross and at Our Blessed Mother who stands at the foot of the Cross. Pray the Rosary every day... if you want listen to an online rosary .. I like Ken Yasinski’s rosary .. keeps me focused. Don’t allow the devil to win this battle. You have all of Heaven on your side and the Church praying for you. God bless you.

I do pray the Rosary every day and watch Mass online on Sundays, but my deep depression has turned to the hypomanic phase recently and though I'm up and moving and doing things (at least inside my home, the kind of everyday things normal people do) my anxiety and confusion are worse than ever and I have been panicking. I'm in fear of dementia (my grandmother had Alzheimers) even though I'm not quite that age yet. My mind is all over the place so I'm not sure how to explain everything to the confessor without going into unnecessary tangents. My last confession was late August 2019 before I fell back into depression and isolation. Nowadays I just write down my accusations trying to get them out of my head and somewhere else when I feel I'm going crazy.

I would frequently injure myself accidentally and my feet split open in deep, painful wounds from walking so much. I would sit in the chapel before Mass attempting to collect myself. Then I went into the Mass thinking I was being unobtrusive only to realize afterwards that people noticed me and could see me doing odd things because of the physical discomfort and the psychological stress I was experiencing at the time. You can't imagine the shame and embarrassment I felt.
