A couple months ago TH-cam removed me from partner bc my account got erroneously flagged and had me remove a bunch of videos. One of those was my space video I made in 2009. Here is the updated version of that video which now contains more objects and a completely new Milky Way model that I made whole cloth. Also replaced the audio with my own music.
I plan on making more and getting back into astronomy in a big bad way but I’ve been working on my CD and have been doodling a lot more recently which is why I’m more active on IG nowadays. I feel kinda bad bc ppl seem to enjoy these and I’ve been slacking! Comment if you want me to make more! Maybe that’ll help me get off my ass :P

I removed the moons & the asteroid field between Mars and Jupiter + some of the moons I had in previous version. It didn't look that good when I scaled it up.

I didn't added any in both - it has 82 moons, 53 which have been named!
01:05 Uranus
Didn't add any but it has 27 known natural satellites.
01:19 Neptune
None in video but it has 14! Also fun fact about the rings is they consist of 5 distinct rings! Primarily made up of really dark material.
01:31 Pluto-Charon
Pluto is the large one and Charon is on the right, Hydra is left of Pluto and Nix is left of Hydra. I left out I left out Styx and Kerberos only because they are so smol! Or maybe i just forgot :P

Eris is a Trans-Neptunian Object (TNO) a couple things from wiki:

Just think how every thing is being controlled by ALLAH... MashaALLAH.. How much light ALLAH has given to moon and sun which provides light to earth and sun.. And these creatures never hit with each other.. There are million of gallaxies and one day ALLAH will finish all those things

I once had a very chilling lucid dream like that.. Where as I was watching the stars from a balcony I said "why not move any closer to see them better?" so I kind of started flying towards them, got into space getting closer to everything until I got mortified by the realisation of where I was, like "oh shit I should not be up here I'm human" and immediately turned back in a panic till I woke up!
Still one of the most awesome and terrifying at the same time dreams I've ever had.

Kind of similar dream I had where they were letting common people travel to Moon. At first, I was so excited to go to Moon. But then I got terrified by the idea of going so far alone. What if I don't come back.

We are so tiny, we arent even important
No one knows how the milky way looks exactly, scientist just predicts the Milky Way looks the way it is because of nearby galaxies and similar galaxies and by plotting the way the stars are angled and lined up, and when they're finished it forms this spiral Galaxy, but no one has ever been outside of the milky way so we don't know what it looks like exactly

@Jaiden Martinez lies? dude You sound dumb, no one or nothing man made has been outside of the Galaxy. If you search up "do we know what the Milky way Galaxy looks like" it says what I said in my main comment.
I searched up, "do we know what the Milky looks like" and this litteraly popped up like how a definition of a word would pop up. "The same thing is true in principle of the Milky Way. You can directly measure angles to the stars. When astronomers developed ways to measure distances, they could plot, this angle from north, this many light years, so relative to us that star is here. Plot many stars this way and you will see the shape of the galaxy."
The Voyager 1 spacecraft has reached the outside of our solar system in 2012 and it left earth in 1977. The Voyager 1 is one of the man made objects that's farthest from the earth. And it only reached outside of the solar system not the Galaxy, it hasn't even been outside one of the arms of the milky way. So no one knows exactly what the Galaxy looks like because no one has been outside of the Galaxy.

Universal Maker Martinez it's impossible to record milky way because for that we have to go beyond it which is not true yet...all the photos n videos of our galaxy is made-up .... Just look at it and enjoy... Don't assume anything based on that look.

*Here are some important inaccuracies to note:*
- The asteroid belt between mars and jupiter was missing.. It's huge.
- After pluto, we completely skipped the objects surrounding our solar system in the Kuiper Belt before the heliosphere.
Fun fact: the bubble of objects that is the Kuiper Belt are believed to be the source of comets, and the source of life, and the source of dwarf planets Pluto, Eris, Haumea and Makemake.
(yep, that's everything we know that falls into the planets category after pluto. Along with the theoretical, yet to be discovered, "planet X" (OMG Nibiru!!?!) that is thought to be about the size of neptune based on its gravitational influences.)
- And then we went straight to milky way swirls, with no detail, coming from the wrong location.. the end
This video would have been really really cool if it were accurate and showed everything we know that is between us, and where you can start to see where we are in our milky way galaxy.. because even that part wasn't accurate.. But otherwise, great video..
Other than what was shown at the end of our solar system, and beyond it, it seemed accurate enough (except for the missing asteroid belt of course). And to anyone that reads this, I'm not trolling.. I just don't want someone to see this video and learn the wrong details.
Edit: Fun fact 2: Since we now know pluto has an atmosphere, and it is created from the sun's solar radiation interacting with the almost absolute 0 surface temperature causing it to release gases during season change, and since we know pluto is in the Kuiper belt where comets come from, they believe that pluto itself may have been a comet..
Soulife thanks! Yeah I’m sort of working on a new one. It will be scaled and have detailed information about various systems! I’m really excited about it but It’s a lot of work. It was going to be in VR but I’m not sure it’s going that route anymore. There’s a bit of programming I have to learn too! Stay tuned and thanks for feedback!

The universe I believe is not infinite, otherwise the speed of light would not be the cosmic speed limit. Having a speed limit ensures that the edge cannot be reached as the universe is expanding at the speed of light, and will cease to exist before light could escape it.
