Its kind of like a bay . Its ocean , but protected by lots of reef , so you don’t really see waves and in a way looks like a lake . Water is very calm . Lanterns get picked by people in canoes ( boats ) . You are not allowed to use your own home made lantern ; they provide them and re- use them every year
