Be careful flying these in dry areas! The fire usually goes out itself, but sometimes it doesn’t. The paper can catch fire mid air and land on a house (they’re banned in Germany bc they set houses on fire lol). These are super fun to make and set flying, just be very careful and play with them responsibly :)

what with fire if the balloon lands? does it need to be a safe location? ( as in a place where there are not things that can catch fire? ... ) also... how long does it stay in the air?

The wax only dips in the starting, when it keep burning for 1-2 minutes, wax does not dip anymore. Also the balloon only lands when the fire goes out so no chance of fire. Also leave the balloon from open place like a roof or open ground. So it does not stuck in the way to sky.

it doesn’t happen often, but they can catch fire mid air. They set a few houses in Germany on fire when they landed on a roof. Just make sure to use them away from houses and in an open area (like these guys in the video, they used a perfect spot) and that a drought isn’t happening. You can release them over water too! Always make sure to collect the lamp when you’re done ^^
