Kia Sonet X Line 2022 starts at ₹ 13.39 lakh - ₹ 13.99 lakh (Ex-Showroom, New Delhi). Kia Sonet X Line is based on Sonet's top model GTX+ and it costs ₹ 30,000 more than an equivalent GTX+ variant that it's based on. Sonet X Line gets cosmetic changes to the interior and exterior of the car whereas mechanically cars remain the same.
In Uttarakhand starts from ₹ 8.72 Lakh and goes up to ₹ 16.27 Lakh (Dehradun).
Kia Sonet is based on the Hyundai-Kia K2 platform that also develops various Hyundai and Kia cars which sell in India and across the globe.
All New Kia Sonet X Line gets two engine options. The first is a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 118 Bhp and 172 Nm of torque. The second one is 1.5-litre diesel which produces 113 Bhp and 250 Nm of torque. The Sonet X-Line is only available with automatic gearbox options, which means that the petrol variant is offered with the 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox. At the same time, the diesel gets the 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.

I have been using a sonet xline for the last 7 months. I put a matte ppf the day i took delivery. Never ever had any issue since.
Problems of people not doing enough research before picking up xline.
This is just illogical. There is no use of getting matte ppf done on a matte car it only damages it. Better you should have bought GT line and then got the ppf done, atleast you could have saved ₹30000

I have never heard putting matte ppf on xline damages it. There are so many people who have done the same for seltos xline. And cleaning the car is so easy after this.
Let me get this straight,
You run a channel that’s meant to share information about vehicles, literally about vehicles, and you didn’t know that matte finish paint required a different type of care?
If you’re professionals, you wouldn’t be blaming the employees at the showroom without first reading all the information about the vehicle, not just the paint, but everything about it.
If you were really enthusiasts, you would’ve done more research on the car that you were “drowning” your money into.
Stop complaining and be professional for the sake of the channel you run.
I live in Bangalore. I own Kia Sonet XLine from past 9 month. Upgrade my gtx+ booking to this. Dealer told me do’s and don’t do’s regarding the care of the paint at the booking as well as at the time of rto registration. It was also clearly mentioned in the booking docket over the email sent by KIA. Dealer recommended me to get PPF done, that i also opted. Till now i don’t have any issues with the car. There were some minor scratches, chips damages but all took care by the ppf.
If you want to do ppf then why did you waste ₹30,000 on buying Xline because ppf never works on matte paint it rather damage it . You should have bought cheaper version and then you should have got the PPF done on it ..
@@WorldofWheelsind The Xline has its own advantages sir, something little more than the top line has to offer. If you're not able to afford the ppf then dont buy this car. The xline stands out of the line in public, thats the reason people go for this car. If you keep complaining like this, the problem is from your side. Also all these whining from your side would never happened if you have went with a good ppf. See some of PPF tests videos done by Scott, you'll know the advantages of it. Every dealer would clearly say the hardness in maintaining the matt fininsh and people buy knowing these. In India if you want to maintain the matt look, then PPF is the only solution. your reply for what the Guy mentioned is irrelevant.
i done the same thing. went to book gtx+ n finalised X-line. after watching the videos regarding matt shade i checked with the sales person n he told me that u only need to clean the car with normal water and keep 2 microfibre cloths to clean it for dry n wet. Also try to use PH7 shampoo while washing it that too if required. car yet to delivered so lets c n hope for the best.
Please share some more details about the paint issue... Most of the video seems to be on problems encountered with dealership... Clarification on matte finish would be appreciated...

Exact same experience i had, from my dealership.
.No test drive at residence
.Didn't get the color chosen
.Didn't get delivery in due time
.No gifts, not even a sweet during delivery, hushed us out of the showroom
Sir aap Matte PPF karao ispe, Gagan sir ne pura detail me bata diya hai kia selots x-line ke baare me uske upper matte ppf karne ke fayde aur sab kuch👍
Matte ppf ka rate 95k hai jisme aap 3 baar puri car paint kara sakte ho
Matte PPF sirf agar car ka paint pehle se glossy ho to usko matte main change karne main help karta hai but ye pehle se matte finish hai to PPF karane ka koi use nahi hai wo bhi itne high price main

Agar apne PPF karaya to paint ko protection milegi aur jo do aur don’t hai unhe bhi follow nhi karna padega, tension khatam ho jayega

It’s getting matte ppf on the xline fine? Does it damage the look off the colour ?
Paint will be damaged because ppf works only on classic paint cars and if you coat any other paint on matte it damages
