Jazak Allahkheir brother for explaining that in a way I clearly understood. As a revert from Christianity, I also try my best not to do any pagan actions. I grew up watching many pagan practices that I am also cautious. I don’t celebrate any of my kids or my birthdays, and I recently learned not to celebrate Mawlid as well since our prophet(PBUH) never told as to do so. I am still learning Alhamdulillah 🤲🏼

You’re more smart than some born Muslims because there are many Muslims that fall to that trap. Celebrating mawlid or any birthday is not something we should indulge in. I’m sure the people that started mawlid with good intentions centuries ago didn’t think they’d have misguided so many Muslims until present day. based on some hadiths Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) kissed the blackstone. But since there is no further explanation about this action, this is not a mandatory action to be done by muslims. As for the reason behind this actions, since there is no exact explanation either, here is my 2 cents: 1. To show his respect to Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) , According to the history, the blackstone was given to Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) in the process of building kabaa. So the blackstone is the icon of Abraham heritage. 2. To show his longing for Mecca (Makkah). History said that hajj al wada' (farewell hajj) is the only hajj ritual ever done by prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam, and the only occasion he ever back to Mecca after settled in Madina, whereas Prophet Muhammad had very great love to his hometown. 3. To show gratitude to Allah SWT, since Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam entering Mecca with glory.
The stone was stolen at one point because some nation thought it will disrupt the muslims pilgrimage, it did not because muslim knows its just a stone and has no bearing to our worship. Its just a way to get bonus point 😅

Even if the Kaaba (as a structure) isn’t there we’ll still pray in its direction and go to Hajj. We do not pray for it, we pray facing the direction of it.
From a logical perspective, with thousands of people trying to visit the Kabah at the same time, the best way is to have a continuous circle, for a limited time (7) rotations and use the black stone to keep count.

If Muslims worship the Ka'ba they would have stopped when the Ka'ba was demolished at least 3 times durin Islamic era And if Muslims worhip the black stone they would have stopped when it was stolen for over 20 years also during the Islamic era

Recently a friend of mine showed me a video of Christians making videos trying to correlate islam and pagans practices (they get confused with “pre islamic pagans” and the actual start of islam dating from the time of Adam pbuh) I think we need a good video on that subject from you or muslim standpoint to clarify that Muhammad sws actually got rid of all these practices after his revelations… they (Christians) try to make it seems like he (sws) took their practice and Gods (huball or however they call it…) and it’s leading to confusion. When Allah says in the Qur’an, "There is nothing like Him, for He ˹alone˺ is the All-Hearing, All-Seeing." How can someone come and say that you worship the Kaaba when we do not believe that it can harm or benefit us? The Kaaba is the house of God, just as every mosque is the house of God, and we only face it as a direction.

Jazak Allahkheir brother for explaining that in a way I clearly understood. As a revert from Christianity, I also try my best not to do any pagan actions. I grew up watching many pagan practices that I am also cautious. I don’t celebrate any of my kids or my birthdays, and I recently learned not to celebrate Mawlid as well since our prophet(PBUH) never told as to do so. I am still learning Alhamdulillah 🤲🏼

I’m sure the people that started mawlid with good intentions centuries ago didn’t think they’d have misguided so many Muslims until present day. based on some hadiths Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) kissed the blackstone. But since there is no further explanation about this action, this is not a mandatory action to be done by muslims. As for the reason behind this actions, since there is no exact explanation either, here is my 2 cents:
1. To show his respect to Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) , According to the history, the blackstone was given to Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) in the process of building kabaa. So the blackstone is the icon of Abraham heritage.
2. To show his longing for Mecca (Makkah). History said that hajj al wada' (farewell hajj) is the only hajj ritual ever done by prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam, and the only occasion he ever back to Mecca after settled in Madina, whereas Prophet Muhammad had very great love to his hometown.
3. To show gratitude to Allah SWT, since Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam entering Mecca with glory.

Even if the Kaaba (as a structure) isn’t there we’ll still pray in its direction and go to Hajj. We do not pray for it, we pray facing the direction of it.

Recently a friend of mine showed me a video of Christians making videos trying to correlate islam and pagans practices (they get confused with “pre islamic pagans” and the actual start of islam dating from the time of Adam pbuh) I think we need a good video on that subject from you or muslim standpoint to clarify that Muhammad sws actually got rid of all these practices after his revelations… they (Christians) try to make it seems like he (sws) took their practice and Gods (huball or however they call it…) and it’s leading to confusion.
