The "Thelma & Louise" '66 Ford Thunderbird and the '86 Ford Taurus LX from "Robocop" are my favorites from this set. The rest are ok at best imo. Too bad quality control seems to get worse with every new release, and now we get even packaging that seems like it melted from the heat...still it's nice to see all the new Greenlight releases here (defects or fine), and boy they're many! Congrats on the "green" Challenger and thanks for the unboxing.

I actually like the first-gen Corvettes, especially the later C1 generation versions (1958 to 1962 model years) with the doubled headlights, so I was very pleased to finally have a C1 Corvette from Greenlight with this Riptide release. I know it's an older Greenlight casting but, unless I missed something, I don't think they've actually put out a C1 for the past several years prior to this release. (I was in my tweens when Riptide was on television but I don't remember ever watching it, probably because it aired on Tuesday evenings and I was allowed to watch its lead-in, the A-Team, but I had to go to bed afterwards since it was a school night.) I also bought the Robocop Ford Taurus casting, which is a very nice release and I'm looking forward to other releases of this casting. It would be amazing if Greenlight could team up with Conan O'Brien and release a 1:64 scale version of Conan's legendary 1992 Ford Taurus SHO which showed up a couple of times in pre-filmed segments of Late Night with Conan O'Brien and which he apparently still owns.
Re: Walmart chase pieces. Greenlight does some Blue Machine chases for Walmart, the Riptide Corvette is the Blue Machine from this current wave, but the Green Machines also show up at Walmart.
Yeah the blue is for Wally and the red is for Target. I believe all of the cars have all three chase versions. My buddy diecastrum has the MacGyver Jeep as a Blue machine.
@@randytaylor1258 The whitewalls certainly aren't subtle, but it's those wonky tyres particularly that irk me the most. You really have to cherry pick when it comes to Greenlight.

it`s disappointing to see GL quality control isn`t improving, now the packaging is letting them down, yeah it`s not a great set, my pick would also be robo cop police car, looks good in matt black, your hit rate on green machines is insane

Macgyver car . I was happy about it.
I'm a big fan of the show I ever see him drive it in the show. He would drive a jeep wagoneer.
Yeah I loved MacGyver as a kid. I would often dream of one day repairing the linkage on a carburetor with the spring from a ball point pen.. haha

Yep. The wheel issues on that MacGyver Cherokee are certainly familiar. 😕
