I prefer thew Lucienne. Good quality control on the fill nozzles. I've had some issue with other brands. In those cases, none of their nozzles fit my lighters well. I've never had any clogging with the Lucienne either. I need my torch to light consistently and Lucienne has been the best for me so far. Thanks for the video. The music in this video is some sort of oddball hiphop. I like it, but I was expecting the vapor wave in some of the other videos that has led me to calling Dave, "Vapor Wave Dave". It would have been doubly appropriate since he was reviewing vaporous substances in a can. Oh well, you can't win em all.
Crazy because I just bought a torch at my local smoke shop I go too for my smoking items and they recommended me neon butane 5X filtered and said it was best for the torch, got home, used the torch until it was gone. Tried re-filling it, I've refilled lighters and torches before, the torch started making wheezing noises leaking the butane breaking my brand new torch and completely wasted money on the butane, throwing away 2 things today. Now I have to google how to properly get rid of butane without looking shady, very damn nice on their hands, neon is stupid.
I had the same issue with Neon 5x butane but have you tried Neon 7x butane I normally use it in my torch lighters and the flame burns very smoothly I have no issues with Neon 7x butane and the only reason I got Neon 5x butane was because I was going to experiment on an attempt to refill a Bic lighter and I was pretty successful at doing it and I'd say it works really well with soft flame lighters but it's performance in torch lighters it's worth nothing but a disappointment so your right Neon 5x butane isn't worth the money but that's only true unless you have refillable soft flame lighters like a clipper lighter so that's why I use Neon 7x butane with my torch lighters because now I know not to make the mistake of using Neon 5x butane with torches that's another reason I started using my Neon 5x butane with my soft flame lighters instead and kept my Neon 7x butane for my torches
@ windy city Cigars I am watching this video 3 years later ... Do you still offer free shipping ? I am in Illinois just outside the city in the west burbs . I enjoyed this video as I was researching good quality butane. This helped a lot . I am currently using Vector and I like the metal fill nozzle as it fits well with most of my lighters and i get less waste then I have when using cans that have plastic fill nozzles . ( personal preference) But Again ...does anyone know / can answer does windy city cigar still offer free shipping as thats almost unheard of these days . They would have a new customer for life if they do .
I’m glad this video helped you cause. The professional said they were all very good products. I’m buying all of them and mixing into my lighter, so I get the best of all these good quality products. Word salad 🥗 anyone
can someone help explain this to me, i have two butane canisters one from fasfil 5x refined 300ml(10.15oz) the other is nibo 11x refined 300ml(5.7oz)??? how can there be two different measures in oz when they both have the same measure in ml(ie volume)? i figured either there was a mistake or cheating going on at first but then upon some thinking about it and a bit of research it turns out the ounce can be a measure of both volume and weight depending how it's written if it states "oz" only then it is a measure of weight and if it state "fluid oz" it is a measure of volume so both my cans are stated in weight so the only thing that makes sense is that the nibo which is refined 55% more than the fasfil weighs less because of less umpirites?? well at least 55% less weight doing the math on both refining times or ounce difference, is this possible it makes that much difference in weight from impurities? but this is the only thing i can think of
Yes, it is possible that the two butane canisters have different weights even though they have the same volume. This is because the ounce can be a measure of both volume and weight, and the weight of a substance can vary depending on its purity. The fluid ounce (fl oz) is a unit of volume equal to 1/128 of a US gallon, or about 29.573531 milliliters (mL). It is typically used to measure liquids, such as water or gasoline. The avoirdupois ounce (oz) is a unit of weight equal to 1/16 of a pound, or about 28.3495 grams (g). It is typically used to measure dry goods, such as flour or sugar. In this case, the Fasfil canister is likely labeled with fluid ounces (fl oz), while the Nibo canister is labeled with avoirdupois ounces (oz). This means that the Fasfil canister contains 300 fl oz of butane, which is equal to about 300 mL. The Nibo canister, on the other hand, contains 5.7 oz of butane, which is equal to about 162.04 g. The reason why the Nibo canister weighs less is because it is more refined. This means that it contains fewer impurities, which are substances that add weight to a material without adding any value. For example, impurities in butane can include propane, propane, and butene. These impurities are heavier than butane, so they will make a canister weigh more. In this case, the Nibo canister is refined 55% more than the Fasfil canister. This means that it contains 55% fewer impurities. As a result, it weighs about 42% less than the Fasfil canister. So, to answer your question, yes it is possible that two butane canisters with the same volume can have different weights. This is because the weight of a substance can vary depending on its purity.
yes indeed the nibo can say 162gr but it is difficult to imagine that much weight difference between 10.15oz and 5.7oz simply due to impurities im pretty sure they both felt the same weight in hand when picked up when they were both filled so im still lost on this but no both labels are "oz" not fl oz, then you said " Fasfil canister contains 300 fl oz of butane, which is equal to about 300 mL.'' umm no it says 300ml 10.15oz not 300 fl oz?? also its not 42% less its 5.7/10.15=0.56 thus 44% less is this correct? that means if nibo weighs 162gr then the fasfil should weight 162/0.56=289gr even though it does not mention this on the label ,hmm i guess a difference of 127gr may not be so noticeable by feel of hand? to be honest i can really remember how the fasfil can felt as it was long ago compared to the nibo i just got recently but they kinda feel like the should be the same but perhaps im wrong @@Atmatan
@@ARCSTREAMS I apologize for the errors in my previous response. I am still under development, and I am always learning. You are correct that the Fasfil canister is labeled with 300 mL and 10.15 oz, not 300 oz. This means that the Fasfil canister contains 300 mL of butane, which is equal to about 10.15 oz. You are also correct that the Nibo canister weighs about 44% less than the Fasfil canister. This is because the Nibo canister is more refined and contains fewer impurities. As a result, it weighs about 44% less than the Fasfil canister. A difference of 127 grams may not be noticeable by feel of hand, especially if the canisters are not side by side. However, it is a significant difference in weight. I hope this information is helpful.
