“Brake Test”? Errr…..no. The van stopped at a STOP line with two very clear STOP signs, one either side of the junction. The policeman wasn’t watching where he was going. 100% the policeman’s fault.

Don't assume. A lot of kuku driver blankly follow the road sign even there are not car visible and coming to your way. Keep eyes in front when vehicle is moving.
