Hearing his voice as Sylens again broke my heart. What a terrible loss. I loved seeing him in films and tv shows, and his role in Horizon was such a joy - he played Sylens, this mysterious character with wants of his own, so perfectly. Rest in peace to him.
I played quantum break just a few days ago ... Lance has always been one of my favourite actors he is someone who had a really strong yet subtle presence on screen .... I loved him in all his roles .. in horizon games ... Quantum break ... Fringe series ... John wick....
Wow... I think the Horizon series were the games that truly used all the PS4 and PS5's capacities. These graphics are insanely gorgeous. I don't think there are other games out there right now that look as vibrantly luxurious as these two games.

Some constructive criticism in the form of suggestion - viewers might get misled by Hollow's commentary at 1:37:42 saying the new weapon "isn't gonna do much". I want to gently point out that Hollow might not understand well about elements in Horizon for 2 whole games plus this dlc (which is fine I love Hollow anyway), the reasons are as followed which might prove useful for both Hollow or potential Horizon players: - Elemental ammos are mainly for building up *elemental states*, not for direct impact damage but constant elemental damage/effect. At 1:37:42 he threw a fire bomb and the machine instantly caught fire, that's the ultimate goal of an elemental weapon. - Hollow liked to switch the corresponding elemental ammo to another ammo right before the machines *triggered* an elemental state, failing to actually utilize the elemental effect. The circle elemental state indicator would have a white stroke as countdown if the elemental state is triggered. - *Cannisters* isn't just a weak point, it can trigger a elemental chain reaction by shooting it with the corresponding elemental ammo. - There is no point shooting a machine in elemental state with the same elemental ammo. E.g. if the machine is on fire, using fire arrows on it does little to nothing; for states like frozen and plasma, you would want to maximize your impact damage output during the elemental state by using normal ammo. There are also other mechanics Hollow didn't use in Horizon like tagging important parts of a machine, which makes your arrows hit 3 to 10 times harder, etc etc. So read all the hints the game gives you, there're tutorials under the datapoint menu section where you can learn basic to advanced gameplay mechanics!
@ Apologies for the confusion, I meant to say by tagging machine parts, you’d know where to target for maximum damage output. There are weak points, non armor and armor which by attacking them, grant you damage increase or reduction. In Hollow’s playthrough he hit a lot of armor plates that drastically reduce your damage to the machine because he had no idea where to shoot
I see, thank you for clearing that up for me😊 And I agree, I don't think Hollow made the most out of the combat mechanics, in fact this is the most rushed playthrough I've ever seen! Speed-runners could get some tips from this!
Hollow, the bow on the top is a seeker. That means when it's fully charged the arrow will "seek" the area you shot at. So it's best if you fully charge it so you can deal the most damage. And the on on the left is a piercing bow. So it does very high damage to weak points. Keep that in mind
I came to the DLC after more than a year after finishing the main game. And I struggled getting back into it, taking it so much slower than you and dying repeatedly in this first section. You zoomed through and played it like a boss! Wow. (Although I was also doing all the side missions and a lot more exploration.)

You should look in setting cuz there’s an option to turn off the collecting motion and you’ll just click triangle to collect and she won’t do the extra motions that take forever sometimes you can just run by picking up everything

It's been a minute since the last game so it's easy to forget Aloy's "Ew boys! attitude towards the males who liked her like King Avad and Erend vs her gentle openness towards the female characters; the only reason she even dealt with males outside Rost was if she could get something out of em or she really needed their help....other than that, she'd adamantly try to keep them away. Then in Forbidden West we learn that Elizabeth was Tilda's carpet cleaner. So with Aloy being a clone of a chick who digs chicks, and this new Quen girl coming off as a more youthful butch than Petra in the first game.......these ✌🏾buddies✌🏾 may become more than just buddies going off Aloy's closeness with Petra and her behavioral patterns. Then again, if Aloy is still stuck in her moody loner ways, she might just run this new girl off 😂

Whoa, I was not expecting to be this emotional to hear Lance Reddick's voice. The first and second game got me through a lot. On a different note, the physics engine is...uh...not working. As someone with waist length hair (I actually put my hair up to confirm and, coincidentally, I'm of E/SE Asian descent so my hair is the same texture and color as Seyka's, too.) and a home filled with all manners of tassels even just walking by sends everything wavering. No windows open or any appliances/electronics that'll affect the air current is on, just me walking around. No physical contact either. Seyka's ponytail AND tassels should be swirling all over the damn place as seen on Aloy but it's not. Unless they're all held in place the way the rope details are on her vambraces? Those ropes should droop and flop around as well but they're obviously secured somehow. It's even crazier to see the stark differences when ANY of the Quen are standing next to Aloy who's every twitch sends her strands aflutter around her. Like, they're outside?! In a beach setting?! Hello?! Anyone who's been to the beach knows it's heeeella windy more often than not.
RIP Lance Reddick. When i saw the news i was heartbroken because i genuinely loved his character in Horizon Forbidden West, especially the last because i went through the emotions thinking he betrayed Aloy in the most horrific way, but at the end when he stayed despite the inevitable coming my heart strings were pulled. I'm sure I'll enjoy this gameplay as well.

Once you got the sun wing it was easy. All you do is just fly around and unlock the campfires so you can quick jump
