I totally disagree that you need to "kick Flip" or "drive 150 yard" in order to buy a shoe. I believe that putting in the work to get a limited shoe is way more of a skill. Example; Raffle announced on a weekday and your busy at work but have until 7pm to sign up. Finagling your way to the Skate shop after work is wayyyyyy harder
