Short wheel suspensions and flat atmospheric thrusters are actually increadble additions simply because they'll actually fit on ships better.
kind of? I wonder how much power they make when it comes to the thrusters, because if it's proportional power to the amount of 1x1x1 blocks they take up, we will need to make very flat ships to avoid thruster damage while also getting enough lift..
@@rarespetrusamartean5433 usually, DLC blocks specifications are the same as vanilla ones. Only their size varies. So I'm pretty sure that the thrust and energu consumption will be the same
I see water and fish have finally been added to the game. Just not in the way we expected.
This is the first time we witness water in a vanilla setting!

complete with a built in gravity generator so you can place it upside down and the fish don't mind
Next update is Micro Blocks so you can build a submarine to put in the aquarium.
The decorative pack is great as always, flat atmo thrusters are an absolute blessing. The ricochet feature is really good, and i hope that it’ll bring much needed advantage to the good-looking ships and bricks will stop rampaging the PVP. Tho now that I think of it, PVP will likely be flooded with flying rhomboids, which is still better than bricks
I love this game (even if it is getting a bit expensive), but it really needs more single-player PvE content to thrive, like NPC engineers.

Yes, on console, without scripts, it's impossible to even add the mods for pve. No matter what you do the game just feels empty.
The inset blocks are a nice addition and will certainly be useful. I have been hoping for a while that someone would would mod the normal deco blocks (as well as control seats, etc) to have an integrated floor and/or ceiling so that we don't have to have an entire block between levels.
Just checked back in on this after not playing since it had only space, some asteroids and two ship types. You guys have done amazing work and it's great to see that the updates are still ongoing!

The music in this trailer is better than I'd expect for a small update/DLC trailer, I'd love to see some like it added into the game.

Putting any control block behind a DLC locks all blueprints containing the control block behind a paywall, a bad thing for the community as a whole.

This is a cool update and pack, and the scenario seems interesting, but it's not quite the dealmaker that'll breathe life back into the game for me.

Let them concentrate on developing the mechanics and the content of the game first.. I want them to focus all attention on the engine for the second game, and use these quality DLC's both to keep new stuff coming and extra revenue to fund further development. Story mode comes after that, once the world it will be set in is ready.

let them add NPC first, after that we can talk about quests and factions, maybe who knows more types of resources and mining needs (currently 90% of the components can be made out of stone, and honestly there is no reason to leave the planet you start on)

I love this BUT could you guys do more for survival, NPCs, random settlments. Give us a reason to create machines and weapons other then "need to create".
What is like to see is a motorcycle and atv cockpit, also it would be cool if weapons automatically gave a block the warworn skin

When doing a 0 to 100 speed testing, I have noticed that the small flat atmospheric thrusters indeed have a little less than the expected 1/3rd of the thrust of the standard 1x1x3 thruster ones, and they use up a little more power in comparison as well, can anyone confirm this? So they are the less power efficient option to make up for their easier placement on the vessel?

I love all the compact blocks/additions. Should make it easier to create livable medium/small builds that feel like living ships (instead of faking it). Nice update!

You guy's really need to add this into the base game
Love all the new blocks. I am sort of wondering why they cannot make actual wishbone looking suspension, but had to make it a flat plane of zone where the wheel can move on the existing design. Those areas between the mounting point and wheel did not really have a collision to begin with. Seems they could have just skipped a step and make the mounting point the block and spawning a wheel woudl have spawned a wheel and the corresponding moving joints that define a fully articulated suspension.
and for this i cant enter into my server come on, there is some way to i can back up and install the previos version?
I love every update you guys make. In my opinion Keen Software House is the best group of game developers out there.

It needs to be moved to the vannilla game, there's absolutely no reason for a control block to be locked behind a DLC. That just makes it so you have to pay if you want to print any ships using the new block.
Well, now I have to redesign my entire orca fleet because they actually added orca engines!

I love the new blocks and I am always happy to support Keen through the purchase of the DLC. I am saddened that the update seems to have broken the mod Build and Repair on our server. It will not function and half of the menu is not displaying. :(
Has anyone else seen this issue or know of a solution?
Hmm. I already Made some Low Floor, 7 Blocks width City Buses that uses the Compact Wheel Suspension Mods. I'm not sure if these new Suspensions will work, since with the Mod for my Buses I use the flat Suspensions, so the inside Floor is 3 Blocks width, and doesn't have the 1 Block Suspensions already in, more the Plate Suspensions on each side, which allows me to hide the Wheels better, and make my Buses airtight.
Let's see how the Wheels look like, I'm still optimistic.
