Build a LEGO® Creator Expert replica of the world’s most popular automobile. This beautifully crafted LEGO model is packed with authentic details that capture the vehicle’s character and charm, including an azure-blue color scheme, curved fenders, white rims with distinctive hubcaps, round headlights and wing-mounted turn signals. 1960s VW Beetle with surfer theme features an array of brick-built details including an azure-blue color scheme, curved fenders, white rims with distinctive hubcaps, round headlights, wing-mounted turn signals and opening hood, trunk and doors.

looks better than any car of today. Truly an amazing job done by designers at Lego.
I’m currently waiting for this model to arrive and honestly these models building has really helped me to get through Coronavirus Pandemic lockdown, especially with my mental health. Anyway, is it just me but has anyone been experiencing numb fingertips and also chewed up/cuts to most of your fingertips skin pads? Anyway, admittedly I’m a little annoyed that the models building isn’t a long process, last week got the Friends/The Big Bang Theory MOC building, (meaning it’s not LEGO and much cheaper to purchase,) and I’ll be lucky if it took me 6 hours to complete, and most of that time was separating the pieces in colours and sets to assist the building part. Anyway, wishing you all happy building

The way the seats put together so cleanly was really nice, that and the round tire housing. Lots of new pieces.

It's just so well-detailed and so cute. They didn't have to make an engine, they didn't have to make a cooler or surfboard, and yet they did! Also those stickers on the rear windshield \o/

I got this lego set for Christmas it was very fun to build it took me 3 hours

Probably one of legos best sets
Lego have made Volkswagen Beetle and T1 Camper Van. i like both of those sets, but if they make Volkswagen golf mk1 it would be almost like a dream.
I like this better than the cooper. It's colourful, fun and looks a great build. I also like how there is no long repetitive parts of the build.😋

Fun Fact: The Volkswagen Beetle was used by the Third Reich during WW2. It was used as normal transport like today's modern cars.
The irony is that this is probably harder to assemble than a real bug... xD

Hey you have the rear side window stickers on crooked too! The Directions should tell you to put those on last so you get them lined up w/o a gap on the glass.. Arrgghhh! Its a fun set to build, the chassis is well thought out design
