This video came on my suggested feed randomly as I was thinking I need to move back to orange county and buy a 997... google algorithm is really on point.
Absolutely chill vibin my dude, I dig it. For me, the Porsche driving experience is second to none (I’m in a Panamera Turbo nowadays) and it’s just timeless pleasure. Very little time for drives like these at the moment, buildin my empire, but this vid got me thinkin… soon haha. Peace and positive vibes ✌️
Hello mate! Advice from Toulouse in France (owner of a 997 mk2 S). Your oil sensor seems to be defective. Oil pressure is often at 5 bars without load in your video with warm engine.. It may have a defective ground on oil sensor. In theory you should not have this kind of pressure if your oil is the right one and level ok.. in your video it seems at the highest whatever the rpm.. not a specialist on mk1 3.6 997 but should not be so high! make check that.. but good vid!! Bonne route l ami !!
Good eye! Yes, I was concerned about it initially so I asked a couple people I know with 997.1 Carreras as well as the mechanic and a few Rennlist forums pertaining to the oil pressure always being pinned at five bars while driving, but it's apparently "normal" with the 997.1 Carrera. When in neutral at idle it'll sit around three bars then max out as soon as you apply any throttle in gear, everyone says it's nothing to be worried about but I'll probably try putting in a new oil sensor because it seems unsettling still haha
Just make sure you don’t make it your priority over building up your pension pot, Porsche ownership is an enjoyable but capital intensive journey. I used delayed gratification over instant gratification.
Definitely will once I grab a mic, the raw camera audio was a little underwhelming so the music compliments it better but absolutely will use the pure engine audio with the proper mic setup
Didn’t wait for the oil check 😉
I dig it, dude. I'm a 991 owner but who doesn't love the 997? Timeless and just the right size.
Awesome! Love the 991s, which do you have? I'm looking at replacing my 958 Cayenne with a 991.1 S or GTS as my new daily

sick car! if I may make a recommendation, try filming in 24 or 30 fps instead of 60. will give it a more cinematic feel
The vibes off the chart with this one Dom ❤🔥🏎
Thank you!
I've got a Guard's Red 997.1, so I thoroughly enjoyed this..!!! Great job...
Thank you, great color choice!
I’ve got an arctic silver 997.2 S. wanted guards red but spec came up and went for it. I now love the silver! Guards still has a place in heart though
I love Porsche. I love my new 992.2. Nothing like the 911.😊
No substitute! Uploading a vid like this of the 992 tomorrow!
@ Wowww great!!!! 🙏🏻👌🏼👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
@ Just went up!

Awesome, Panamera Turbo is a great choice!
Dripping with class.
Thank you!
Lovely video, beautiful car.
Appreciate it!
All this video needs is a coffee run clip
Just posted a coffee run POV vid with the 997, will do another cinematic one like this soon!
The steering wheel is awesome!
Thanks, definitely compliments it well!
Beautiful 997! Just wondering where did you buy that replacement steering wheel?

@@dominicsicolij’avais le même problème sur ma 997s ph1
J’ai changé le capteur, depuis c’est 2bar au ralenti à chaud.
🔥🔥🔥
Where did this happen, in which country, in which city?
is this a base or S trim ?
This might have just become my new dream car. Especially with that steering wheel! Now I need to go do some research. Thanks for the vibez 🙌🏾 ⚡️

Hard to beat the mix of modern comfort and classic analog driving the 997 provides!
Nice video. But next time lose the music and put the mic in the back seat. We all want to hear the flat six.
