This video really puts it in perspective many of the names that shaped the NFL from the 2010s until now. They all were game wreckers in college. Aaron Donald, Jadevon Clowney, Khalil Mack, Lamar Jackson, Michael Crabtree, Johnny Manziel, Juwan Jennings, Alvin Kamara, Joe Burrow, Saquon Barkley, Justin Jefferson etc etc. That’s why we love College Football 🏈
The Clowney play has become known as "The Hit". I'm a life long S.C. Gamecock fan and let me tell you, the emotional rollercoaster of being pi$$ed at the bad call by the refs one second to amazed jubilation the next gave me whiplash.
Fun to see the Khalil Mack highlights. Mack always kinda reminded me of Troy Polamalu in that if you have the football you have to know exactly where he is at all times, or else no you don't have the football, he has it.
8:20 oh the kick six. I still remember hearing some neighbors that lived around the corner from me in an apt building losing their minds cause they are bama fans and this game knocked them out of the conference championships lol. I didn't know what was happening at the time, but i knew from hearing "no no no no" from the entire family that something huge had just happened lmao
I was on the way home from Florida at a random Dennys in a small Alabama town, the place exploded. I along with every man in the joint was standing in front of the Dennys TV losing our collective shit.
General guideline is if you're the favorite, or it's a home game, you go for the extra point to tie. If you're an underdog on the road, you go for two, because you have a much better chance in a one play sample size than you do in the college overtime format
2:05 I don't know why they even measured it when they were right there at the first down marker, and you can tell he clearly didn't get the first down.
Going for 2 when a TD puts you up one lat late in a game makes sense because if you make it you’re up 3 (a FG) whereas if you don’t make it it’s the same as kicking, a field goal beats you anyhow.
3:10 JaDeveon Clowney of the University of South Carolina was as HIM and HIM could possibly be. Just a freakishly talented athlete who hit like a truck and got to Quarterbacks so fast that opposing teams had to double and triple team him with blockers if they wanted their QB to survive the game.
Clowney was all time if the game was the combine but his story in college was always that the highlight plays hid his low production. He had 3 sacks in his draft season.
The Pitt player who tackled to players is none other than one of the greatest d-lineman to ever play in the NFL, Aaron Donald (you might recall he is on the video of 10 top freaks of nature in NFL from a few years back).
You guys have seen the Clowney hit no less than 10x 😂😂😂. Stella must affect memory like the leaf does 🍃 Edit: check that many of these! 😂 Either way keep up the good work boys.
A little perspective for our foreign friends. The camera makes it look a lot slower. Up close, everything is so quick. Also, a lot of those players are freakishly large, which makes the speed and quickness all the more impressive.
Pat Fisher passed this week. To me, very underated corner back from the 60s & 70s. R.I.P. Pat Fisher th-cam.com/video/aUH7lFh3EBU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=jWcDvUJg7v0fszhO
Dawgs are always on the receiving end of a great player or miracle 😂 we have im him moments like Gurley beating Deshauns clemson but you wont see dawgs in the good light of compilations 😅 ever.
2019 LSU was pretty good, but not quite as deep as 2001 Miami. That 2001 roster had 38 NFL draft picks on it, including 17 first rounders, and two Hall of Famers in Andre Johnson and Ed Reed.
I was going to comment the same, no team will ever match that 2001 Miami team. That 2001 team may end up with 3 HOFs if Frank Gore eventually makes it. Sean Taylor was probably on a HOF track before his death mid way through his 4th season. that might me be projecting a bit, but Taylor was one of if not the best safety in football when he passed and was poised to be that guy for many years. Some other fun facts about that team - 43 combined Pro Bowl appearances from the 2001 Miami roster after entering the NFL - 7 All Pro players - Defense allowed fewer than 10 points per game and forced over 4 turnovers per game for the season. - The defense alone had 21 players drafted into the NFL, equivalent to a NFL level player at every starting position as well as their backups.
you guys need to check out the video that went super viral recently titled how the tigers are changing pitching; they are one win away from ALCS with bottom 5 payroll in mlb; the tigers are moneyball type story with how far back they were and the fact they are literally reinventing pitching with how many relivers they use(and lack of starters)
You know that Alabama is so hated when they are left out of Video's like this lol. Guess that is what you get for being the standard every college football team is held too. I still hate them though lol

Almost all of them African American too. The true Superior race of people 💪🏾💯
@@Jimbow-sz9khLet’s not do that
@Jimbow-sz9kh So with sports what about everything else? Didn't think so
That Clowney hit is one for all-time. I remember watching the live broadcast on New Year’s Day.

Still my fav college hit. Everything surrounding it and the recovery.
Awesome. Gamecock here as well. The next play was a fantastic throw and catch in the back of the end zone. Crazy sequence.

as a texas fan the fact that it starts with 2 clips of dudes beating our ass is crazy.

Can’t believe Leonard Fournette wasn’t on here. One of the best “I’m him” players ever
9:55. Kirby Smart, then defensive coordinator for Alabama. Now coach of Georgia.

3:15 BALL DONT LIE
You guys may recognize the fella who tackled the two Duke players at once as NFL legend Aaron Donald

Phil Dunphy actor Ty Burrell also is a Penn state alum. Actually is good friends with Key
In football key rule is if ur away u go for the win if your home you go for tie
Clowney: 6'6 275lbs, 4.5 40-yard dash, period.

number 97 in the Pitt clip that tackled the qb and rb was Aaron Donald
college saquon is worth a video on his own. when i went to pitt he came in and scored 5 TDS against us

He recognizes Josh Dobbs but not Aaron Donald haha
4:46 Daz, for Pete's sake... it's Ohio STATE. Ohio is a completely different university. I'm not even a Buckeye fan and that annoys me.
go watch Tyrann Mathieu LSU highlights
Love it!
Penn State doesn't play Ohio this season, they play Ohio State who are a much bigger and more famous school
Hey Daz it's not Ohio. It's Ohio STATE.!!!!!
Ohio STATE, not Ohio.
Boooo! 〽️🏆

I was thinking the same thing. I kept waiting for something like Trent Richardsons run against Arkansas or anything but no.
2001 Miami beats LSU everytime
