Wow. Thanks for posting this up. I haven't seen it since it was first broadcast on TV. Those were indeed the days. I do remember that Barry raved about "The Usual Suspects" that year - I unfortunately I had to wait for it on VHS to catch it. It was worth the wait, but I wish I could of seen it in the cinema.
Apollo 13. A movie that just outright mocks the audience. Yeah sure, they conjured up some sort of filter with a sock that saved their lives from the theoretical vaccuum of space. No doubt that happened.
