    My experience with the emblem speed nodes is different from what you state. I don’t receive a whole number speed addition of 2% or 4% to the hero. It’s something lesser but common sense arithmetic doesn’t seem to apply. For example, Foley was at speed 54 so I thought the 4% node at #19 would get Foley to “fast” speed 58. Alas I spent 125 emblems only to fall short at speed 57. I have variant Aiko with 2% speed node plus 5% charge bonus, but speed only increases from 52 to 57, again short of desired 58 speed. I feel a bit cheated. Any explanation would be appreciated. Thanks.

      That's not how it works. it is NOT a SPEED bonus, it is a CHARGE GENERATION bonus. So what you're experiencing is precisely how I explain it...
      What you are trying to do is multiply the 4% onto the Speed value for a hero. In reality, what it does is, in battle, it improves the Charge Generated by 4%.
      It gets a bit technical, but using your example of Foley.
      * His base speed is 54.
      * This requires 9.44 Charge Units (CU) to reach 100%. As you cannot get part-units, this rounds up to requiring 10 full tiles to charge his speed.
      * What the 4% does is it increases each tile from giving 1CU to giving 1.04 CU.
      So representing this mathematically, 9 tiles will not give you 9 CU it will instead give you 9.36CU (9*1.04).
      Which you can see is short of the 9.44 required to charge him.
      THUS, the 4% is UNABLE to charge break foley on it's own, you need a little more (which is what you experienced).

      At some point I will do an explanation video, demonstrating and explaining in detail how Speed and Charge Generation and in-battle Charge interract. But for now, this will have to suffice.

      @@TheGuvsGaming thx for the info. It is confusing for the casual gamer. According to your chart the 2% node will provide the desired charge speed break for Ayumi and Hypernova.

      Yeah, it's not the most intuitive thing hey... and sgg don't really do themselves any favours by not explaining anything nor having their team at all versed in explaining the mechanics.
      From their base speeds of 56 and 57, yeah the 2% from their talent tree is sufficient to get the single break :)
