It is access to information that is the main factor in the decline of major religions in nearly all free societies. However, what we’re now seeing is an increase in atheism even in societies that are not as free.
Astrophysics student here, just wanted to say that when you look at background radiation or a galaxy that is billions of light years away you actually are looking back in time. Sounds crazy, but light has a finite speed and takes time to reach us. When something is say, 2 billion light years away, the light we see was emitted two billion years ago. While we cant exactly look at the very start of creation, the further away we look the further we look into the past. From that, we can deduce patterns that leave implications for the very beginning of everything.
It's been a while since I heard so many fallacious conclusions in such a brief time. It's a shame for everybody that such a closed mind might influence others. Don't accept something without evidence. You need to have evidence to back up claims, not simply outlandish assertions that not only have no evidentiary warrant but also counter existing evidence
