    Love this tutorial. I’m struggling to figure out the right size for 12 gauge rings. Can you assist?

    Once you have "locked" your large rings, could you continue down the chain this way, then do the crossing of the smaller rings after??? Or does this make it too difficult manuvre when crossing?? Just wondering.

      Jen yes you could, if that makes more sense to you. It's always worth trying at any rate. Deb

    I'm from the States and having trouble finding the right rings (everything here is inches). I tried using the same rings that I use for Celtic Visions but I don't think the AR is right. Any advice?

    I love this but I can’t seem to get the second small ring weaved through the top and the bottom :( Perhaps the sizes I have are wrong because it’s so tight I can’t close it without damaging or scratching the ring

    Love your channel!! I'm having problems with this weave. I got the 16ga ring sizes you suggested but after 3 units it's so tight it won't move. Is there a trick I'm missing?

    • @AussieMaillers
      @AussieMaillers  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Jon, when you say 16G, are they SWG or AWG? We listed our gauge using AWG. If you purchased from a site that uses SWG they will be too thick. Let me know if that isn't the case. Deb

      @@AussieMaillers That actually happened to me when I first started, a couple of weeks ago, lol. So I made sure to get awg this time! I should get my rings from you but I didn't want to wait for them to get all the way to the US from Australia! I should have more patience!

    Thank you for this amazing tutorial but like many others I'm not getting the same result as it's coming out way too tight. I'm doing the 14 gauge and cut the rings myself so I know both the wire gauge and ring diameter is to your specifications. However I think the big rings is too small because each section of the weave is butted up right next to the next one. Like the big ring that's supposed to connect each section is not even visible. Do you have a suggestion of what could be wrong?

    • @AussieMaillers
      @AussieMaillers  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Our ring sizes are based on the mandrel we wound them on, so if you are cutting them to be equal to the ID and therefore the mandrel is smaller that could be the issue. Or you could be using the wrong gauge system. Your wire could be softer, so the spring back is less than the one we use, you could just wind tighter, your kerf could be larger....there are many reasons why ring IDs can differ. HTH Deb

    Hey...do you think this could be modified into a single unit weave for pendants or earrings?

  • @jenniferhoward885

    Are there written instructions?. I am having trouble seeing where the rings are being weaved through.

      At this stage no, I hope to do some up, but am time short for the next month or so. Deb
