If you think about these bannings as preparation for the sets coming out, it suggests that we are likely going back to volcar. Possibly monarch 3, the battle of solana vs Demonastary but the volcar set is all but confirmed when they said "as the draconic card pool grows.." in the explanation why tome of firebrand was banned.

They made a ban for Crown of Seeds in much of this same fashion. There have been several signs pointing back to Volcor and I hope its the set we see next!

I just joined flesh and blood recebtly after leaving yugioh (played for 10+ years), and seeing the honesty and development priority of the FaB developers is so refreshing. Theres essentially 0 communication from the konami team in yugioh and the banlist center completely around product and sales which gets really frustrating when formats are too toxic. I'm playing Kayo, so I'm happy I get to keep bloodrush bellow and can save money by not getting art of war :^)

Yeah, I use to be a YuGiOh player and its night and day here in FaB. The team at LSS seem to really care about the input and overall enjoyment of their game and don't want to make it a "Well I got my combo first so I win" situation, like with YuGiOh.

Imperial Tome is absolutely required for Emperor. I think that, plus the fact it’s not played anywhere else, is why it’s still around

Yeah, Imperial Tome is described as needing to have a strict card pool in your deck for it to be effective, i.e. all reds, and thats why it hasn't gotten a ban. It did make Dromai really powerful, but Fai doesn't care about it, so its gotta find a sweet spot for it to be effective.

The problem with tome was dromai no the actual card because to play it you lose 11 block value in the whole game

Shifting winds would be the only way to play dishonor by naming a tiger bonds. Me personally it wouldn't be worth having dishonor in for this scenario because you would need surging strike and descendent gustwave in the line as well.

Yeah its definitely difficult to make sure it will connect. Idk I personally don't hear too many stories about people Dishonoring others, its really the Bonds plays that happen beforehand that are destructive from what I've seen

@@AshenWingzTCG No was never common but if lined up properly for katsu it was a satisfying line to pull lol. I can't say I agree that bonds was overwhelming in katsu but zen is what made binds an issue. It does open katsu to a more tiger build until they make a new combo line for katsu which I'm fine with but right now he has alot of rework to do.

@NightFABle-ek8yp Absolutely. Thats why I enjoy the innovation though. Being able to see heroes be different than the same 20 cards you put into every hero of the same class, makes it alot more interesting

As long as Oasis is still a card wizards will suffer

Absolutely. Maybe there will be unpreventable arcane in the near future? Who can say.

All the cards that have gotten banned can become free to easily. Which is very unhealthy for the game.
