The part I loved about the basement reveal is that when they found the photograph, they ask "what is this?" I agreed, thinking "of course there has to be more here," but then the characters continued with "it's too detailed to be a painting," and I was hit with the realization that the photograph technology didn't match the world inside the walls. Completely understand about the comments, however my advice would be to keep the current format if at all possible. Main reason being SO much happens in S4 (it probably could've been 2 seasons). Each part probably needs its own video to fully explore the events, themes, nuances etc.
Yeah I agree. I was going to suggest maybe just doing both parts in one video, and then the finale another video covering the two hour long specials. Maybe that could work too.
Reading those chapters in the manga years ago made me DIZZY. The revelation, the lore dump, the connections to real world history/legends is something very few modern shows are able to tap in to. It’s on LOTR level & I’ve only dipped my toe into that. Lol
The brilliant thing about this story is- It is very easy to be wrong.. but it is also satisfying how everything is actually laid out.. i mean, isayama made everything solvable and unsolvable at the same time. Man is crazy.
@@BenganGamer you just said it differently.. i mean, if you watch it the 2nd time and there's literally no way to put things together.. it won't make sense.. But everything is well placed, but as an audience without context on the first time you watched it.. all the clues and hints can easily be overlooked.. You can insist on whatever you want though.. i mean, we both enjoyed the show in our own ways..
@ninoangelogonzales5552 solvable implies you could figure out everything important that happens before it happens through clues which I don't agree with at all as there's not enough proof.
@@BenganGamer You could certainly solve the fact that there are humans outside the walls, There's so much evidence of that before the reveal that a lot of reviewers before the reveal come up with this conclusion if they pay a lot of attention, before the reveal you could also come to the reasonable conclusion that for some reason whatever group of people reiner and berthodlt are part of, think of the people inside the walls as some other "despicable" group because of some of berthodlt's dialogue that implies this. There are many things you can't figure out before the reveal, but literally 2 of the most important things in the reveal can be solved.
The way the basement reveal recomtextualises so much is kind of incredible. And the more you see the more things you look back on and see how this was set up for years. The warriors reveal in particular breaks my heart on a rewatch understanding what Reiner means when he is lamenting his position he’s found himself in.
I love the reveal about Marco's death because it changes the meaning of a cruel world that strikes at random to the evil of men at the same time that the story is no longer about survival against a natural calamity but a battle between people
Marco's final words are also perhaps the most important in the entire story. The story's central theme is about how we should talk things out instead of fighting.
32:40 The Female Titan gets its name from its appearance just like the Colossal Titan and Armored Titan in terms of how it stands out from the mindless titans. Since its established in episode 5 that the mindless titans all appear male, a female-shaped body is a notable enough signifier to use as a name. I do agree that the some of names are kind of uninspiring, but that's kind of the vibe Yams was going for, I guess.
Exactly, the female titan is called 'megata' 女型 in Japanese, literally "woman-shaped", since it is noted very early on in season one that almost all titans look male, it's just a good signifier for the people inside the wall that gave it that name. By the way, the Colossal is literally just called "the super big one" (超大型) in the original ^^
One detail that always gets me in Grisha's flashback is when they show Paradis island on a map. This space we've come to know, that felt so vast, is now so *_tiny_*
During my first time watching it, the Marley Reveal came completely out of the blue for me, too. But during rewatches you always discover some clues you've missed before, that were droped incredibly early. For example do you remember that coversation between Reiner and Ymir in season 2 with the canned hering? First time I just thought something like: "Yeah, Reiner's onto something, why does Ymir understand this foreign language? Suspicious.." On rewatches you realise things like: "Do they even have the technology of canning food inside the walls?", "Hering is a sea fish, but there is no sea inside the walls. Eren and Armins big dream even is one time to be able to see the sea, of which they've just read in this book.", "Why did Reiner not ask about that all, but just noticed that, she spoke could read a language, that she should not understand?", ... So the first time, I just thought, Ymir slipped up and Reiner uncovered that somethings wrong with Ymir. Now I think Ymir set up a trap to confirm her suspition that Reiner's from outside the walls, by indirectly revealing her marleyen origin to him. And that's just how one single scene developed for me during rewatches. This series just has an incredible rewatch value. ^^
There's so many things springled throughout the story like that, it's incredible! Another scene is also when Ymir talks about the "monkey" to Reiner and Bertholt. But Eren is completely dumbfounded, not just becouse he didn't see the beast titan but becouse Eren doesn't know what a monkey even is. It's just foreign words they're using to him. Also i remember some people calling the show stupid back in season 1. Cretiquing by saying how do they know there's no humans outside the walls, when they're trapped there? They said it was a plothole in the series and just nitpicked everything they could. Eventually the show would reveal these things in the story, showing these were never plotholes.
I think this isn't what she was complaining about. she expected that the there is another culture outside the walls. it is just this nazi references that felt out of nowhere for her. it doesn't bother me but I can see her point
Merphy! I never even thought Bert wanted to listen to Armin cause he didn’t do that for Marco! See this is why your view of the story is so important! Sometimes you notice stuff that some of us didn’t!!! So don’t listen to anyone, it’s very fun to see your interpretations of the story as you move forward, this is what is the fun is!!!
I adore this story’s themes. The sympathy shown to all parties but the explorations of the real evils they cause is a brilliant critique of the idea that good intentions can still pave the road to hell. It honestly helped me externalize my journey into pacifism. Brilliant, tragic, and hype as it gets
@@beastvicious8672 that's not why shit got bad man was a coward in every sense of the word and blames his history and his own people. To me his a weaker Zeke. what the character of charl fritz was is the worst version.
@@oyamampendu9467 That is the essence of a pacifistic king. Letting yourself/your people get annihilated rather than fighting back is pacifism. Spoiler below for Zeke: Zeke is the same way. He will rather let his people go extinct than defending them.
@@beastvicious8672 not because of. I had just left the military and was already disillusioned. But I use fiction to explore emotions, and at the time I was watching AOT, Vinland Saga and reading the source material for Vagabond. Aot covers a lot of factors in combat that are consistent in both my training and reading of history, and king Fritz was just one of them. I say pacifist for simplicity, I don’t think anyone’s wrong to try and live, but even most “justified” wars are avoidable. The deal with most conflicts that AOT nails if you ask me, is that most wars have as their cause, something caused by another war. Eventually someone has to be the bigger person, which is ridiculously hard, because of the stakes. I think the central thesis of my reading is encapsulated in the Children of the Forest speech and the post credits scene, which I don’t interpret as being related to the events of the story. On top of Levi’s “it might be an idealistic pipe dream, but if it wasn’t it wouldn’t be worth dying for.” Peace a struggle worth striving for, but you can’t just ignore real danger. Hence the complication of my position and the slightly wonky ending (I thought it was good, just lacked some of the oomph of the early parts)
@@beastvicious8672 oh I love moral philosophy. There are more positions than “must fight” and “can’t do,” and I know that sounds like I’m simplifying, but imagine if you’re Finland in 1939. USSR asks for a territorial concession to keep their capital safe from the Germans, who they have reasons to suspect you’re friendly with. you say no, they invade, you kick ass but lose. Now you did the honorable thing, but they still don’t have that territory (Karelia if you’re curious) and all you gained was honor and face. You avoid the Iron Curtain because of a real life Armin, the legendary Gustaf Mannerheim, who not only led your war effort but thought you should have just conceded the territory without all the killing. (Mannerheim was an absolute G by the way, he was voted the greatest Finn of all time, and lived a fascinating life) How do you explain to him that it was better to kill tens of thousands of Finns for international street cred? You could say the whole world will trample on them now but they ended up fighting both the Axis and the Allies later *because* they opted to fight. I don’t expect to pierce decades of badly written “no-kill rules” and every American movie (I don’t know where you’re from, I know that) portraying their pacifist characters learning how to kill people, nor do I expect to solve all war in a TH-cam comment section, just to say that it’s complicated, and King Fritz’s failure was his simplicity, as is, in my opinion, the failure of uncritical militarism.
I feel you on the “I didn’t know what to do with it” reaction to the basement reveal, I didn’t either! I will tell you though, as a forever skeptic, this is easily the best part of AoT, and what cements it as an all-timer in anime or even fiction!!! I can’t wait for you to start what comes after, it’s genuinely a thought provoking moral conundrum and will push our heroes to their limits.
if you want know my opinion, i think you should keep it a video per arc bc if anything the story will become so exiting to discuss each episode and maybe each chapter a lot more than the first 3 seasons experiencing AOT season 4 weekly was phenomenal and i think this is the right way to engage with it the story heavily rely on the missed context not just for the viewer but also the characters face that so talking about it as a whole take away the instant reaction of what you think in that moment which is literaly what aot fans starve for whenever a person watch it for first time, reexperiencing the same vibes we had when it used to air and there is a ton of scenes and chapters not even volums that desperately need to be talk about without seeing what happens next which i think the vlog will fulfill for me breaking season 4 to 3 or 4 videos discussing each arc towards the ending is the best way to approach it
I agree, this is why Aot reactions are so popular amongst the fandom cause we do love to relive every twist, every plot point with reaction channels cause this is what this story does to you lol

Totally understand your thoughts about spoilers. I think it’s always a major problem where some people seem to think they’re being way more clever than they actually are about allusions to future events/themes etc. I’m not sure what the best option is tbf. I think this last section of story is fairly dense overall (to the point where one massive video might be unmanageable), and I’ve enjoyed the part-way checkin format and theorising you’ve been doing so far. I’m not sure if your schedule would allow for it, but maybe an option would be to record in the same format you have been without uploading them until after you’ve finished the series. Basically bulk recording now so that you can then edit/release the section videos over time in one of your standard time slots once you no longer have to worry about spoilers?
I personally prefer you would still keep the current format, because to me it is really engaging and fun to see how you feel about the story and come up with theories. Anyways, you should choose what best for you.
Season 4 is too big to do justice in one video. There is going to be so much happen with story, character, lore, action, themes, etc. that it would be way more fun to do it in multiple videos rather than one.
Was it mentioned in an earlier review that the VA for Erwin is Jotaro's. Zeke is Dio, and Eren is Koichi of all people. Floch is voiced by the Jojo of Part 5 and Levi is Trafalgar Law.
It's been fascinating seeing you piece this together season by season as someone who's already seen it all. I hope to see part by part reactions to s4, but if it's too rough in the comments I guess I'll have to wait a few months.
I for myself can only count 4 things, that hinted on the world beeing more technicly advanced than what we are made to believe. Grisha´s medical Knowledge. The Syringe. The Canned/conserved Food in the old Watchtower (season2). The remaints of coffeé.
I feel like coffee (and Ymir calling the beast titan a monkey when Eren didn't know what that was) is just a hint that there is a different climate out there, not that it's necessarily more advanced... The other things make sense of couse!
Most titans are named after their immediately observable appearances(a lot of those names are initially presented to us by Paradisians), so female titan makes sense in this regard. In the original language, female titan is more like"feminine/female shaped" titan, basically like armored/colossal, they are mainly named after immediately observable physical traits and appearance.
As an idea, i don’t know how feasible it would be to do, but maybe you could continue as you have been but not releasing the videos until you’ve finished season 4. Like making the summary per part accompanied by the vlog, but with a long delay between finishing filming and releasing. I don’t know of theres a right way to go about it, but for me i love the small break downs as its nice to see your thoughts on the smaller aspects of a series like AoT.
Please keep the current format. Seeing your 'raving' thoughts and reactions along your journey is the main reason to watch and enjoy these videos. Love it
I remember being just numb and in a daze after Armin's death. The music, the way he went out, his last thoughts, the animation! It was around midnight and I called my friend, who had read the entirety of manga, and we discussed Armin's death. All credits to him, he did not spoil a single thing and was sympathetic throughout!
I love that! I always try to do that with friends too, I had a friend watching a show with me that I already knew and I had to keep a blank face while she tells me "you know, this guy is quickly becoming my favourite character", knowing he'll 'die' the next episode, then console her while also knowing he'll come back later as a twist...
I really enjoy Armin's character, he lies *so* much. Back initially with the soldiers, with Annie, with Bertholdt multiple times and now with Eren, always in order to make a plan succeed, I love it. His hero moment was absolutely deserved. Also yes so many good moments, and the extra information for both Marco and Ymir (soldier/80 year one) is great. I would prefer the current format, cause there's definitely a lot of stuff, but I understand if you want to avoid comments trying to lead you into the "right" direction. Thanks for your review?/reaction as always, very fun.
Considering we get the reading vlogs that showcase the progression of your understanding so perfectly, I think one very long discussion at the end is perfect. And if a byproduct of doing one long video happens to be a 4 hour reading vlog no one would complain about it.
4:55 I don't think he snapped "back", that's likely the moment that caused him to dissociate, unless I'm missing something. *Also on the imagery thing, if you look back at the Eldians inside the walls, most have German names ("Jägger", "Erwin" like Erwin Rommel), except Mikasa who has a Japanese name... Most notable, Pixis' character design was inspired in Akiyama Yoshifuru (a general in Imperial Japan).
Don’t worry, it’ll all make sense soon. You got most of what you’re suppose to get given the information available for you at the moment, so, major kudos to you.
An idea for how to tackle s4 content: I think doing it all in one mega video would be too much, you would likely have to rush past some details to try and cover everything. But I also get not wanting even hints of spoilers so my idea is to maybe still do it in chunks, record and make the video for each chunk, but don’t release any of them until you’re done the story? So that way you can still break things up and dodge spoilers? Not sure if that’d work but wanted to pitch it if it helps!
omg i can't wait for you to experience season 4. It's a masterpiece. Edit: You should split season 4 in 2 or 3 parts because there is a lot to talk about in each part and many moving parts.
I think it's better to have it in 3 parts since the story of this series is so rich. Also this is just a personal opinion but i like it when you theorize about certain stuff even without the full context, because eventually you're clearing things out further down the line and it's cool to see this kind of "character development" from you😂 but it's ultimately your choice
33:48 like others have said I would definitely recommend splitting it into the 3 parts. I’m not sure if you would enjoy this or not but it may be worth recording the videos in advance and releasing the videos on your normal schedule. That way you can break it up, but you wouldn’t be spoiled either. If that might be too time consuming but it could be fun for you to be in the position to sort spoil commenters about your thoughts instead of the other way around
Lukerer here. Whatever makes you most fulfilled, because that your content the most fun to watch. If you truly on the fence, then I would be a bit sad to lose out on your reaction. But, if you want talk about it when the series is over, then I’m totally fine with that! Give your heart!
You don't really need to be nervous about which "side" you take in this story. For me there is no "right" answer when it comes to the main ideology of each side everything is grey and black. And I think that us fans side with what we think is the best for the side we want to protect. Kinda like the option with Armin and Erwin.
Tbh, watching all of season 4 at once is probably the way to go. It works better when analyzed as a whole than just halfway through given how they pace the storytelling.
I hope whatever you choose going forward that you keep the check in vlogs. Those are so much fun and I love seeing how your thoughts change as you get more information :)
I support Merphy doing part 4 in one go. The AOT story is so complex it ended with the community being divided into ideologies. And given this is the internet, people are very passionate about it.
I feel like as the story progresses it got less complex maybe because the lore from season 1-2 was slightly nullified by the S4 revelation of where the titans originated from and how it connects to the wider story. Idk for me I felt as tho that part was not explored enough or given enough backstory.
@@ChadBenjamin @vitre69 Ill just elaborate on what i mean. (SPOILER ALERT just incase). So for example in season 1, one of my favourite lore moments was Hange’s overnight talk with Eren. She pointed out the mysteries surrounding Titans, the effect of sunlight, the absence of reproductive organs, and how their severed limbs were strangely lightweight. These details felt important, hinting at something deeper and more complex about their nature. However, none of these intriguing mysteries were brought back around into the wider story. Instead, the narrative shifted to Marley quickly using Titan powers without much explanation on how they mastered this ancient force. The earliest account of Ymir Fritz coming into contact with the ancient, parasite looking primordial lifeform within a tree did not satisfy me. This parasite that created Titans kinda felt reduced to just wanting life to replicate and needing a host and then becoming a tool for Marley as they advanced geopolitically. Also the explanation for the tree entity itself remains vague. Personally I just wanted a more deeper exploration into the nature of the entity and how it interacted with maybe other past civilisations etc. I think maybe what also cheapened the "Titan theme" was how it impacted the the world. Like the consequences of Eren's actions should have realistically led to severe mistrust and division between paradis and the rest of the world, rather than a sudden shift toward peace. cause genocide on such a massive scale would have resulted in catastrophic geopolitical consequences and deep polarization. si u think by glossing over that, the story downplayed the mystery and true horror and that the Titans and their powers represented throughout the series. Also I feel like Eren’s shift to mass genocide in Season 4 is presented abit like he had no choice, but feels inconsistent not only to his character but the way the story previously took its time with exploring his personality and growth. early on, his motivations were more about freedom and revenge, but then it suddenly jumps to him deciding to wipe out 80% of humanity, which feels rushed. in seasons 1-3 Eren constantly wrestles with emotions about the Titans and the world, but this drastic turn feels more like it was done for the sake of a big twist than something that naturally fit his character arc. His "freedom at any cost" mindset for me, just doesn’t match the time frame and measure up as a decent response to the vision he saw of the future. thats another reason Season 4 feels less layered to me.
not just here but ive noticed this in other comments sections on similar kinds of videos where people are going through a franchise they think they are saying something spoiler free but while saying it they are leading the person to a conclusion even without giving stuff away, its always unfortunate.
Do what you’ve been doing, merph. As you said, I know it’ll be less fun for you to not look at the comments, but avoid comments just for the first two parts. It’ll be worth it in the end
I really do want to see what you end up thinking about where it goes, and if you see and question the same key narrative decisions I've gotten hung up on. I enjoyed the story's journey overall, but I got issues.
I can totally understand that happy "frustration" when seeing someone experience a story for you're familiar with for the first time (and especially as complex one as AOT) and getting it wrong, but for people who feel the need to point out that Merphy is wrong and lead her towards certain conclusions or even judge her for it, remember that we were all wrong when we were first going through AOT, had different theories and such. And a big chunk of the fanbase (especially manga onlys) could experience it without any spoilers. It's a very satisfying way to enjoy the story and you can do it this way only once so let's be kind and fair :)
We're experiencing the story from the POV of the main characters, so of course you will be overwhelmed with the info dump, just like they were. Imagine how it was for the Paradisians to learn that there's a whole world of people out there, with different nations and cultures, and they all hate them and want them dead.
I thought "hey, I haven't seen Merphy's videos in a while. I wonder what she's up to-" (Notices she's covering his favourite anime) As if I needed another reason to think she's a legend
34:00 kind of a shame having to shift your format, but definitely get it. Some folks either don't care, or at best, don't realize that disproving a thought you have is still a spoiler! It's funny amongs ourselves like "haha, yeah, we thought that too" but isn't any good for you as someone new to the series
Hi Merphy! I think you should mantain the format for this series. I think having you react and create theories along the natural progression of the story is more fun ! And also, S4 is huge, packed with a lot of lore and action, being worth of at least 3 videos of you reacting
I agree with the comments telling you to keep this current format of three parts review. I'll just say this, I don't want the later episodes to cloud your thoughts on the former ones
If you want a visual reference for the world of AoT, it's quite literally the map of our world just turned upside down and flipped. So the island of Paradis is Madagascar and Marley is Africa.
The eldian people are also supposed to be german. The only refference to jews are the armbands and one shot in the opening song. I've heard some say the marleans are supposed to represent America.
I dont really comment but will make an exception to cast my vote that I see many people saying, yes the final season warrents sepperate videos. Merphy you're concerns about being led are totally valid, if that is a fear I would suggest doing Part 1 & 2 in one video and Part 3 seperatly. They are different enough in tone that they make sense as seperate videos. And more importantly after part 1 and 2 the risks of being led or spoiled diminish. Also a final video to discuss the end plus the story as a whole would be great!
In terms of splitting season 4, i would do it they way the anime did and when they went on break. Including putting the final parts as 1 whole video. (I.E. part 3 part 1 as a whole video) It really allowed me to absorb the show as a whole and ponder on what i watched
Why were parts of this so funny? I kinda laughed at "we need the Eren" and the female Titan rant. About format, I hope we keep the format, the journey on aot matters much more than the ending, and part of the fun is having these conflicting thoughts just to have them be recontextualized by the end, or even by a second or third read through

My suggestion is split season 4 into 3 parts corresponding either to the arcs (arc 1: episode 1 to 8, arc 2: episode 9 to 21, arc 3: the rest including the two specials) or the division of the mini-seasons as they came out (part 1: episode 1 to 16, part 2: episode 17 to 28, part 3: the two specials). The arcs are not exactly even in size, and the endings of the first two arcs are cliffhangers, so maybe, so probably following the release divisions is best.

There;s like 3 arcs in season 4, so doing a video arc by arc would be the best way
@@shy7940agreed, 3 videos is probably the way to go especially because each arc is so dense moving forward
totally agreed
Yeah I agree. I was going to suggest maybe just doing both parts in one video, and then the finale another video covering the two hour long specials. Maybe that could work too.
The ending of Season 3 effects me in a way few other pieces of media can.
Reading those chapters in the manga years ago made me DIZZY. The revelation, the lore dump, the connections to real world history/legends is something very few modern shows are able to tap in to. It’s on LOTR level & I’ve only dipped my toe into that. Lol

The brilliant thing about this story is-
It is very easy to be wrong.. but it is also satisfying how everything is actually laid out.. i mean, isayama made everything solvable and unsolvable at the same time.
Man is crazy.
Saying it's solvable I think is completely wrong, but when the pieces fall into place it's still a "Aha! That's how it is!" moment
@kabirarya5381 that's hardly the entire and every plot twist though so what is your point?
Erwin speech is arguably the most emotional moment in the whole show😢

32:40 The Female Titan gets its name from its appearance just like the Colossal Titan and Armored Titan in terms of how it stands out from the mindless titans. Since its established in episode 5 that the mindless titans all appear male, a female-shaped body is a notable enough signifier to use as a name. I do agree that the some of names are kind of uninspiring, but that's kind of the vibe Yams was going for, I guess.
Yeah. Plus I think Female Titan is cool because of its versatility, which most titans don’t have. Being a woman is powerful lol
The Female Titan is extremely versatile and adaptable, incorporating aspects of other titans easily
Please do S4 in 3 or 4 parts. Like each episode in S4 in itself deserves a separate video. Also 2 months wait would be such a long wait 😢
It's funny because Ymir actually knew who were the titan shifters from the beginning because of the former Jaw's memories.
You became a pacifist due to AoT? I had the complete opposite reaction. King Fritz was a pacifist and is the reason the eldians got into this mess.
Spoiler below for Zeke:
Zeke is the same way.
(Mannerheim was an absolute G by the way, he was voted the greatest Finn of all time, and lived a fascinating life)
How do you explain to him that it was better to kill tens of thousands of Finns for international street cred?
I can’t wait for you to start what comes after, it’s genuinely a thought provoking moral conundrum and will push our heroes to their limits.
if you want know my opinion, i think you should keep it a video per arc bc if anything the story will become so exiting to discuss each episode and maybe each chapter a lot more than the first 3 seasons
experiencing AOT season 4 weekly was phenomenal and i think this is the right way to engage with it
the story heavily rely on the missed context not just for the viewer but also the characters face that so talking about it as a whole take away the instant reaction of what you think in that moment which is literaly what aot fans starve for whenever a person watch it for first time, reexperiencing the same vibes we had when it used to air
and there is a ton of scenes and chapters not even volums that desperately need to be talk about without seeing what happens next which i think the vlog will fulfill
for me breaking season 4 to 3 or 4 videos discussing each arc towards the ending is the best way to approach it
I agree, this is why Aot reactions are so popular amongst the fandom cause we do love to relive every twist, every plot point with reaction channels cause this is what this story does to you lol

Basically bulk recording now so that you can then edit/release the section videos over time in one of your standard time slots once you no longer have to worry about spoilers?
this is genius, great suggestion. so unfortunate about these people who think they are cleverly dodging spoiling but aren't at all
My thoughts exactly
12:09 this scene alone took 1 month to storyboard and 3 months to animate, Arifumi Imai is a genius
Don’t forget VA for Marlo is also Joseph Joestar in Jojo’s. His birthday was yesterday 10/11 too 😊
Flochs VA is more known for playing Canute
Season is enormous as far and content and lore goes, splitting into 3 parts, (part 1, part 2, and the finale) is probably the best option
Hiroyuki sawano is the greatest composer of the 21st century in my opinion and his work for attack on titan is his magnum opus.
Just for contest - whole season 4 is something about 35-36 ep (in terms of screen time)
I really enjoy Armin's character, he lies *so* much.
"We have the collosal, the attack, the armored... and the female!" I didn't realize before watching this video just how funny that is. 🤣🤣🤣
That general was an evil man

I think this format is best

33:48 like others have said I would definitely recommend splitting it into the 3 parts. I’m not sure if you would enjoy this or not but it may be worth recording the videos in advance and releasing the videos on your normal schedule. That way you can break it up, but you wouldn’t be spoiled either. If that might be too time consuming but it could be fun for you to be in the position to sort spoil commenters about your thoughts instead of the other way around

If you truly on the fence, then I would be a bit sad to lose out on your reaction. But, if you want talk about it when the series is over, then I’m totally fine with that!

What was nullified?
@@_Arkayne Could u elaborate?
@@_Arkayne Seasons 3 and 4 are easily more complex than 1 and 2.
I think you should continue doing the videos the same way you have been doing up to now, splitting season 4 into 3 parts is the best way

I am loving these videos, looking forward to the next one!
"I will either be back soon with part 1 of part 4, or, I'll see you in like 2 months..." Biggest cliffhanger yet.
The real attack on titans were the friends we made along the way. This has truly been our attack on titan.
Eldians and Marleyns story also hit me like a train like how did we get here 🤣🤣 still peak

The step relationship occurs when a person steps into the position of caregiver over the children. As Dina was already out of the picture there is no official relationship between eren and Dina and therefore she cannot be considered his stepmother
Carla is zekes stepmother on the other hand because she married grisha after zeke was already born. The only caveat is whether or not grishas loss of custody of zeke affects the lawful term of stepparent for Carla
@@seancarroll5803 Dinah isn't dead. She's alive but in titan form. Carla died first before Dinah so that makes Dinah the surviving wife of Eren's dad.
Fun fact, when Eren attacks Bertolt, the audio is muted or silenced a bit to represent Bertolts perspective in the titan body before he gets cut out
YAAAAAYY SEASON 4 IS NEXT CAN'T WAIT QUEEN ❤❤❤
My suggestion is split season 4 into 3 parts corresponding either to the arcs (arc 1: episode 1 to 8, arc 2: episode 9 to 21, arc 3: the rest including the two specials) or the division of the mini-seasons as they came out (part 1: episode 1 to 16, part 2: episode 17 to 28, part 3: the two specials). The arcs are not exactly even in size, and the endings of the first two arcs are cliffhangers, so maybe, so probably following the release divisions is best.
You have no idea the kind of journey you've tread upon😊
really love ur content !
Can you make a video comparing the themes explored in attack on titan and one piece once u finish attack? They're my 2 favorite stories ever and I'm always amazed by how they both explore similar themes such as freedom and war and racism but in such different ways
