- Mike and fished the Anglers In Action Marie's Memorial Bass Tournament on Lake of the Ozarks and had a time. The lake was in that late Fall and Early Winter funk making the bass fishing a little tough. We focused on docks and brushpiles with jigs, shakeyheads and tubes.

Man fishing lake o in the winter without a jerk or an a rig in hand is crazy! You might’ve got some more bites and the quality would’ve been better too. Not sure if a rigs were allowed in your tournament but this time of year, I never throw anything else. Something about LOZ and wintertime is special.

How do you like your Nitro? I've only heard horror stories about them and their hulls... But I always see them on the lake so I wasn't sure what to believe lol
Mike seems to like the boat. It rides good. Not put together as well as some but the price point is more tolerable
From what Mike was saying, you really had to be in tune with your jig, sounds like the fish were just catching it before it hit bottom, but at least is sounded like they were holding it.
Agree. A lot of suspended fish around docks.
