Wow, I have no idea who you are but I see you are from Bhutan - It's one of those countries I know very little about except for one of those documentaries I ended up watching. I hope you're enjoying/enjoyed Bangkok and Thailand, watching this made me quite homesick and I can't wait to get home this summer.
Just a heads up
- Look out for scammers in touristy areas - if you're taking a Taxi, make sure he has the distance meter on!
- Thailand is pretty safe, but as always, keep your wits about you, especially when crossing roads and such (Thai driving is really, really bad)
It seems you prepared well and have done your research + I just assume that your sister may be living in Bangkok already (so maybe she knows some things?)
