This is a really awesome 40 min capsule. TH-cam is flooded with videos on GST. I myself saw almost more than 15-20 videos to understand the small nuances of GST. Although there are some really intricate and detailed videos posted by many CA's which i found very useful, this video is a must watch before watching any other video. It covers almost all the concepts, and throws light on every issue whose idea every common man must have. Right from rates of gst, to its inception, to its pros and cons, everything is covered beautifully in this video. One could watch videos posted by many CA's for in depth knowledge about comparison on present vs GST mechanism, input credit mechanism, definition of CGST, SGST, IGST, UTGST, etc, but i would still recommend watching this video for getting all the common knowledge of GST.

GST After effect : Bought a fan last month , i wasn't sure about which color to buy . The shopkeeper said i could return unused product within 45 days from the date of purchase and the same was written at the back of the bill . Since my homies didn't like the color , i took it to the shop for exchange . The shopwala brought me the new color i asked for , but said that i had to pay 200 extra . He said i can give you the new color but only at today's GST price . that's 200 extra , from the previous price . I argued that i already bought the specified product and i am just exchanging it for another color . and the rule on the bill read 45 days of exchange or return period. The shopwala was not ready to heed and demanded 200 extra . He said I was returning the product after GST , So I had to pay the extra price .So I came up with another suggestion . I said that I'm not exchanging this product , I want to return it . Take my product and return me the money at today's price . That's give me the money back and 200 extra , because I'm returning the product after GST ! I'm not an accounting expert just wondering if my claim was right !

if GST applied on petrol its price shall decrease drastically..then only we can say it is beneficial to common man in real sense...
