"I suppose everything is somewhat copying something else, because there're only 12 notes..."
Actually a brilliant way to look at things
that's not brilliant, that's common way to look at things.
My brain will simply not connect what I hear on the albums and what I see here.
he looks so young for an old man
I wanted to see what does he use for the crazy sounds :D But nice interview. Interesting way to do one.
Hail the king!
Noice
Thanks man. Thats pretty impressive.
Shit questions man! hes a sikk guy though
wtffff it takes me 1 month to make a tune minimum!!! the most I spent on a tune is like 3 months
this is awesome.
first song?
Top dog.
scorpion pit
How?
Perfect Interview held short. fine and precise cutted, not annoying or anything. and good questions. biggup culprate and woundup
thanks man! i look back to when i made this vid and now i look at this, nd wow, how its all changed !
4 days? :o
SICK GUY!! Genius :D
Longest he spent on a tune was 2 weeks and most of the time he makes a tune in 4 days?! Lol i usually take 1-2 months to finish a tune, but then again i still got school and other shit :/
ehmergerd prerterster
How long are you sitting at your workstation for?
Typically I can knock out a tune in about 20-40 hours of work.
So 4 + days sounds about right.
There are other interviews, he uses Operator for all of his sick reeses and stuff
not sure what else
yeah i know but i coudlnt understand it no matter how i often i listen to it xD
shit thats a bit too expensive for me..
but thanks :)
OG bandwagon djs? *cough* pendulum *cough* spor. Although Feed Me is alright, Knife Party are trash..
He says it in the video.. at around 2:45. They are PMC DB1. I think they might b e around 1-1500€ for a pair
Agreed. I have a huge amount of respect for anyone who doesn't use massive.
He spends around 12-16 hours a day when in the production process. so 2 weeks would be like 200 hours
well if you look at it like that then i can do that too probably :)
Oh Culprate.
Do you like fish sticks?
Operator is pretty powerful... And it's fun to play with! (just getting into producing myself)
stop being so fucking awesome !!!!!!! omggg
"I suppose everything is somewhat copying someone else, cause uhh, theres only 12 notes" Lol
NICE! thank you so much for it :)
now a production insigt! ;P
4 days for one fucking track? This kid is a pure genius
wat ._. he usually takes 4 days to a week?? how dafuq???????
i dont know enough of his tracks, but from what i have heard, he is a real master. big ups man.
4 days to a week is pretty standard
SatanIsSextingMe mate, noisia takes way longer, at leasnt a month usually. billain takes even longer, sometimes half a year
George Macken okay.. so those are exceptions.
i guess it was unfair and silly of me to compare that, they make neurofunk and all, but the level of detail, precision and quality of culprate's music just fantastic, thought he would spend eternities as a perfectionist :P amazing music, and an amazing mind
George Macken I believe he meant 4 days not including preparation of sounds, mixdown and mastering. Pretty sure he meant that.
Been waiting for a interview like this one for soooo long.
love his wooden speakers :)what are they called?
When he said Colours took a week did he mean 8 hours a day for 7 days (56 hours) or the amount of hours in the unit of a week (168 hours)?
Darvesh Gorhe He said that '' most of them took me a week '' so, he worked on a single track more than a week, but probably not the amount of hours of an entire week
looking foward to new culprate :D
always the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this man.
I suppose
I suppose
Pretty fooking cool interview
Hey, Apologize.
I suppose.
I suppose
I suppose

This interview was EXTREMELY discouraging.
