All the comments here are about Twenty One Pilots, but has anyone appreciated Mutemath yet? They did an amazing job in this. Also Darren King and Josh Dun trying to outdrum eachother is just gold.
I actually got to meet Mute Math and was part of an audience of around 20 folks while they performed about 5 songs. My mother worked at Clear Channel in Charlotte (massive radio company, had around 6 stations in that city alone). Mutemath came and performed a short session there, it was pretty cool. I was already familiar with "Typical" and "Control" but they were doing a very different style for this recording session. It had a very Louisiana Bayou type vibe. Still fun.
This is _literally_ the best version of this song. It transcends the original in so many ways, from the added reverb, dynamics, and clarity (especially drums!) to the change in inflection in Tyler's singing in the second verse and the final bridge to the grunginess of the last note. The SAI version has a dope guitar feature, but other than that's it's pretty vanilla. I will die on this hill!!!!!

I love how @2:48 Tyler starts shaking his hand as if he was the one playing the tambourine. he is probably so used to shaking the tambourine at this part of the song. or maybe he is just really into the music at that moment (or both) but it's so interesting to notice those little details :)
