How To Paint a Car With Spray Cans DIY

This is how to paint your car at home using spray cans. Use a 2k clear coat for the best results. Make sure to get your car's paint code, which is usually in the door jam or under the hood, and order spray cans online (or at a paint store) before starting. Sand everything in a cross pattern using 100 - 200 grit sand paper, then use 400 grit. It's best to clean with wax and grease remover but rubbing alcohol will work too. Spray your base coat on allowing 10 minutes drying time between coats. Wait 30 mins after your last base coat before applying 2k clear coat. Apply 4 clear coats.
