I am passionate about our history and the preservation of heritage. Thanks for taking us along on your detecting adventure and also an overview of the new machine. It was way back in about 1990 when I found a few nuggets in the goldfields,and to this day I remember finding each one of them - the thrill never leaves you. Great to be back out detecting with the boys @DetectingOz unfortunately no shiny yellow found this time either, but as you know...that's the gold game for you.
The first nuggets you ever find are unforgettable pieces to for sure mate. I just wonder if I will remember every piece once they start coming out thick and fast though...Maybe just the big ones😁😁

No gold this time @The Coffee Bush Kid however a ripper day spent in the bush with the boys and Andrew detecting. Next week we are venturing to new ground yet again...hopefully to ping a piece or three😁

@@DigItDetecting I didn't know where that comment had disappeared to, nearest I could figure, it must have been in my sock draw! It's about quarter past one, been raining most of the day so far, Ive only ventured out from the bus to the bungalow to get milk from the fridge, Such a busy life I lead! It would be a good time to find a nice lump of Gold, prices being what they are, but if your going to find small one's, make it a big pocket of it, all in one spot. I'll be there to see it when it happens, comfortable on my couch! Cheers Mate!
Haha a busy life indeed @wayne armstrong although it sounds like about as much as I achieved today also. Should have went bush for another hunt but decided to stay home and enjoy a home day.

How come your decked out with snake guards but the kids arn't.
The simple answer @arthur joy is the boys unfortunately don't have snake guards yet. It's not often they come trekking through the bush with me for the day mate and if they do, I make sure to always walk in front to clear the way👍
