I’m so happy to see Max looking so well and enjoying himself out there. He has a lovely temperament. Matt you are a wonderful owner and your love for Max shines bright. Trainer and all his staff are very special. I look forward to your next video and I wish Max the best. I will definitely be following him. Greetings from California ❤
Good to watch he's fine, I'm enjoying the behind the scenes stuff, Look forward to seeing him go back over the hurdles and get his confidence and to enjoy it.
Max looks really well . Also he was enjoying himself on the gallops , and i reckon he could easily win his next race over hurdles from the video today .
Max is great, a real gentleman. So pleased to see him looking so well after his mistake at Warwick Racecourse. Thanks for watching and leaving a message. All the very best
Great podcast, we finished one place ahead of Max at Newbury last season with Imperial Saint. We are now rated 138 and 2/2 in chases, so I’m sure your horse will shoot up the ratings once he gets his jumping sorted. Best of luck this season, I will keep an eye out for him.
Max looks great on this latest video. Would agree that a confidence boost over hurdles seems to be the right way to go and progress from there. Would it be so bad to pursue a hurdling career if the big fences are a problem ?
Thanks for the message. He has some very nice hurdles form so it wouldn’t be a major problem but I personally feel he will be better over a fence. Too early to tell, he is a Novice over Fences but he must learn from the mistake. Time will tell . Thanks again
Great content Matt , Roger comes across as a real nice man but he is not known as a chase trainer I reluctantly think Max would have better schooling at a specialist jumps yard
Thanks for getting in contact and sharing your views. Don’t forget Roger was a Jumps Jockey years ago and his son (Harry) also over jumps. The mistake was Max fault. He has been doing plenty of work with his feet in pre training and will be schooling plenty when the time comes to jump a fence again. Roger is known as a flat trainer but can do either. Time will tell. All the very best 👍
Great to see Max looking so well.Just out of interest. Do they ever do gymnastic jumping with him like the showjumper/eventers do to get him thinking about how he jumps.. I know it's become more common within racing.
@@Lisanisky thank you for getting in contact. Max did lots of work with feet in pre-training and does practice jumping at home. Nothing like jumping in a race. It’s the races where they learn the most. All the best 👍

Lovely! So nice to watch this. Better then all those terrible tipsters on here
So I hear , thanks for getting in contact.
He just needs to get right, See what went wrong and start again.
Hope we see him at Plumpton?
NH people are so much nicer than flat.
@@stephenholmes1036 thanks for the message. Not sure Plumpton would suit him but you never know. Thanks again

If you bring him to Plumpton over fences wait till he has mastered fences.
Plumpton has hard fences on a undulating
ground.
Thanks
