    I have the 100 foot Flexzilla. After 3 uses the hose end blew off in my hand. The crimp was horribly done. I bought the pro fitting and so far so good. Almost makes me wonder if they do it on purpose just so you have to buy the pro fitting

      Interesting, sorry to hear that. Happy Gardening!

      Did you claim on the warranty?

    I wish they had solid brass ends

      That would be cool. The current ones are holding up just fine after 3 years.

    How would you compaare this 5/8" flexilla to the 1/2" Flexilla for water flow and weight for average lawn and plant watering?

      There isn't too much difference. I have been using the 1/2" with the quick disconnect to plug into a sprinkler and it has been working just fine. The weight of the 1/2" is a lot easier to move around. Happy Gardening!

    Can you connect 2 or more of these hoses together?

    • @CMooreStarts
      @CMooreStarts  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      With this model, you can connect any hose to it. It has the normal hose connections. On the ones with the quick disconnect, you use one of the nozzle connectors and the spigot connector to hook them together.

    First, that is an outstanding garden! How is the hose holding up?

      Thank you. Overall great hose. Moved all over the yard and garden last year without kinking. Its also lighter than the hard plastic coated hose's. It does collect a little mold staining leaving it in the grass for days at a time. I will probably do a one year update in a couple months.

    Will the attachments from the 50 ft. hose kit work with this hose as well?

      @CMooreStarts  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No they will not but, I just bought a generic set of quick disconnect for $5 at the local hardware store.

    You should have bought the AIR HOSE in same diameter
    Soo much lighter and stands up to more pressure

      I saw the air hose at Tractor Supply the other day and was trying to come up with a reason to replace my current hose.😀

    You have any mold issues with it?

      I left mine out all winter in our gloomy Pacific Northwest weather. It has discolorations like mold but no moldy smell. I was expecting worse. There is probably an additive in the plastic to kill mold.

    5/8 is fine for a 50 foot hose but for a 100 foot hose (or two 50's end to end) you really need 3/4". Your flow rate is reduces the longer the hose is (due to what is called head loss).
    Flexilla is not that great of a hose either.

      You are right about the hose size. They work fine for the garden but I wouldn't want to fill a swimming pool with it. They both are still working great after 3 years. Now stiffness at all like the old fashioned hoses. Happy gardening!

      @@CMooreStarts I just bought a commercial grade 3/4" 'generic?' hose from home depot for $60. 100 foot long.
      I also bought a DRAMM water nozzle elsewhere with jet and shower only ($20).
      I can now spray a stream of water 25 feet!
      Hose is laying out in the heat with water in it (but not under pressure) as instructions said to do.
      Will coil it up (draining at the same time) in a few hours to hang it.
      It is a bit heavy. It DOES KINK.
      Haven't found a hose that didn't.

      I haven't found a hose that is kink free yet either. I just got in a metal hose and need to test it out. Happy Gardening!
