where did you get the patch from? did u make it yourself? if so where can i find recourses to learn how to make my own? love ur vids btw super interesting
Yes i made it myself, the ressources are a bit spread out but they are all on youtube. Check mathew reagans tuts on building a touchdesigner interface.
Are all your visuals here realtime through TD, then Resolume is just used as the server for output? And resolume is triggering which track to play next through timecode? I'd love to learn a bit deeper / demo in action if you ever have time, cheers!
Hey, man! What program do you use for live sets? Also, how can i learn about creating visuals? I cant seem to find anithing in my country. Great work! :)
Resolume arena is the software to play live. Theres really no school for this kind of stuff you gotta learn it yourself with the internet and by just starting somewhere :) im starting some TH-cam tutorials soon you can subscribe to keep in touch ☺️👌🏼
@@JaschasuessI’ve been so confused getting into arena, and not even to mention touch designer. It’s all so overwhelming I feel like i’ll never be able to make anything on them
So does this mean dj’s have to send you their set first before hand and not mix on the fly on stage? In order to match the visuals that you have created? How does that work can u explain to me plz I’m trying to get into this sort of thing
It really depends on the kind of show we're playing. I can go freestyle too and play without preparation or knowing the set. In this case it's a Live Show where there is a fixed setlist and also the visuals are made specifically for the set. The DJs still mix live, but I know which track comes next and have according visuals. For some Tracks I also use Timecode so the video is completely in Sync for example for lyrics.
@@Jaschasuesswhat is timecode. Is it possible for me to play my synths and drum machines and visuals at the same time and have it working good together or would it be too much work to do on my own.Like just say I just change my drums to 'the drop' if I'm playing electronic music live my hands would be busy so is it possible to have visuals change perfectly in time with the drop somehow without having to get an extra guy to do visuals.Like could I set it up for the visuals to change 8 bars in the future tense
@@fahey900 Hey good question, I´ll do a video on that in the future. For your case timecode should work, it basically just syncs 1 Song to 1 Video. So if you have a song playing in the background you could sync that with timecode. If everything is live you would have to play with a click or something so stay in sync.
Dude I appreciate your vids! I am just dabbling my feet
Thanks I‘m glad. I have more Quicktips and tutorials comming soon ☺️
Woah this just opened my mind to a more streamlined set up and usuals of my Laptop
@Jaschasuess . Can you make a video on this Touch Designer to Resolume that looks so cool
do u have the link for the patch you are using, really interested in having a project with a bunch of preset visuals, if that makes sense
dope
Hi great setup. Those predefined video tracks are you syncing them with SMPTE to Abelton?
Yes exactly!
Thanks buddy. The sync methid between to machines are difficult to get but you opened a door and I’ll dig in.

Do you teach this somewhere? Or sell your setup files?
