This is a very rarely heard Mozart piano work. Mozart really refine the Baroque style and bring it to a new age.

This Suite demonstrates the many facets of W.A. Mozart's genius.
So well reflected by the extraordinary Walter Klien. A Joy ~ thanks!

Kräftige doch wunderschöne Interpretation dieser einzigartigen Klaviersuite im relativ freien Tempo mit klar artikuliertem doch warmherzigem Anschlag und mit möglichst effektiver Dynamik. Echt hörenswert!

So if Mozart was born some 40 years earlier he would be very Bach-like? Loved it.

Mixture of Baroque with classical style tension-release.

I would have never guessed it's Mozart. Can't recognize his style at all

The courante a little more than the others. But aside from certain playful modulations I’d agree. I’d never know this was him

Its because of the counterpoint. Mozart was so inclusive in his style that even a fugue by him wouldn't be conventional. He defied such conventions to reach broader audiences with his music.

If you dive deeper into his music you will discover that there's no such thing as a Mozart style, a lot of his less known works have harmonies that are a century ahead, and rhythm and dialogue between the instruments that would fit well with late Beethoven for example, the guy was unbelievable volatile

I hear some similarities with Beethoven's 32nd piano sonata. Perhaps our dear friend from Bonn was inspired by this work. There is no doubt about the genius of both.

    4:39 sounds like Schumann

The first few bars of the introduction sounded like Bach and then Chopin and the end of the introduction like Scarlati. The rest didn't sound like Mozart to me. The Allemande obviously sounds like an omage to Bach.

Unfortunately it hasn’t been ended with a great fuge like the c minor
