It seems sr8 doesn't have such top speed, because of its high downforce. Its beter in braking and top speed corners. This is the main diference betwen those two cars.

SR8 RX should murder anything GT2 class or below on most tracks, it should be competitive even in LMP2 class with slicks and right prepping. This driver is either learning or messing around, his lines are not good, so are the shift points, its very obvious he's not getting anywhere near the tire limits either most of the times. It seem the Ferrari driver also let him pass on purpose with many things considered
I know this is old, but I have to say it. The SR8 could never be competitive with an LMP2. It wouldn't even register in LMP3. It can't beat Sport Racers like the Stohr
+Kyle Wallis Pick up an SR3 or 4 instead...on track you'll still eat anything else alive if you've got the balls to drive it. XTR2 is a pile of shit, it just looks vaguely like a Radical without any of the good bits.
Shite driver. brakes and dshifts early, doesn't know how to late apex, doesn't accelerate off apex efficiently, generally doesn't take ideal race line, spends too much time on bumper strips. The timer in the bottom left corner keeps resetting or the footage has been edited out or time line order.
Perfectly geared for the track. Nice and experimental driving with the slower cars.

I can't believe so many people expect a radical to romp a cup car. Huge difference versus the road going version.
This is the racing version of the radical SR8, derp and the driver is underperforming.

The Radical is a purpose built race car...the 458 is a full body street car trying to be a race car...you can't really compare them.
The 458 GT3 is a proper racing car.

the reason it doesnt appear to be as fast maybe because that it could be running on road tyres instead of slicks

One of tue most difficult to drive car in pcars 2. If u push the gas in the corner you will understand.
Definitely he could carry more speed in the corners,he is not using the whole potential of the tires!
