I actually went to the High school next to the antique store and I even got to go to the cement factory for a field trip to see some dynamite action. Now couple years later I actually got a friend who currently works in that cement factory and take cool pictures from the big tower every now and then. Funny how it all connects lol
Liked your video, used to go to this shop in Oro Grande years ago. Just letting you know being a ww2 German collector 700.00 is a fair price being original decals on these helmets, you need to go to a militaria show 1 day and really see what they go for. Yes I have seen helmets go for way less, but if you’re not a serious collector then you need to buy reproduction ones. Also depends on condition, any replacement of items brings down the price greatly! Nice 👍
Just so you know the Luftwaffe Helmut with the decals still so well visible and the Helmut in that condition it's worth what they were asking I've seen these Helmut myself and collect German ww2 memorabilia the ones you revered to online for 200 hundred dollars were replicas my friends I guarantee it.

You need to learn much much more about collecting militaria as a whole, let alone german militaria. The luftschutze helmet is not rare its about as common as german helmets get, Its also way overpriced at 400 you could find on for 300 or 250 if you're lucky. The American medics helmet I guarantee has fake medical insignia because these helmets are like gold dust and when you do find one the can be thousands of dollars. Always remember to learn about a hobby before you start up the hobby, otherwise you will look like fools.
Years ago I visited Calgary and went to a surplus store there. They had way cool stuff; Sherman Tank Turret, Blenheim Bomber cockpit, V1 Buzz Bomb hanging from the ceiling to name a few. One wall had small arms from every major combatant in WWII.
@@wigglyjiggly9935 militaryantiquestoronto.com, they have a street address on their Facebook page, but I don't know if they have an actual store. Happy Hunting :)
@@wigglyjiggly9935 You're raining on my parade LOL, chuckling here. I've collected militaria for years. I'm toying with the idea of getting a Pour Le Merite, but can only afford the Jewelers copy manufactured in the 1920's and 30's. Collecting this stuff is addictive.
@@brenm3586 i Mean yeah if you buy them like in perfect condition and on a site where they sell them for like max prise i have seen those Helmers go from 80-200 in auctions where i buy some of my WW2 stuf
You guys don't know much about militaria. You speak about getting things online cheaper. Most of that stuff is reproductions or fake. $700 for a German helmet is very far. A lot are over $1000. Research to see what the going price is on stuff and to know what items actually are. Then maybe go to a few shows to get a feel for what things are worth.
You two need to read and learn more about german militaria

If a Purple Heart has a name on the back that hero has died. There’s a website that you can get on and return it to the family.
I will not buy a Purple Heart with a name on the back but will tell the owners about the website.
They don't know that much about ww2 stuf XD
I worked at the cement plant across the street and bought many military artifacts from that antique store.
