The doctor who centenary special (Power of the Doctor) is a bit of a mess, but its also quite possibly the best celebration of the show to date. It's got everything. Call backs, returning companions, the doctor faces off against 3 of the main antagonists of the entire franchise. It even has returning doctors, kind of sort of... It's complicated. SO somplicated that I did a full review to really break down what I like and dislike and was surprised i liked and disliked, and ive gone crosseyed.
It's a good episode. you should watch it before watching this video because I don't give a crap about spoilers in this one.

I'm mad about them decanonising Mary Shelley with the 8th Doctor too!

Post viewing the 60th "anniversary" episodes, I enjoyed Power of the Doctor, as chaotic as it is, more than any of them.
Wish Chibs had dropped the Daleks and made the Master-Doctor more nuanced. He could have led Yaz a merry danc!. That apart, I found it VERY enjoyable.
I agree that a companions' support group spin off is the OBVIOUS spin off!
