Everything is okay because it is what it is or just another day.I never get tired of your introduction to your video .👍

I think it was the bridge formula. You were almost 48k on a 4' 6" spread tandem for the drivers. I,ve never been able to get a permit for more that 46,500 lbs on a set of 4' 6" spread tandems. i' ve only ever seen 48K on a 6' spread. Then again I've never been that heavy east of the Mississippi. Fun channel you have. Semper Fi Devil Dog! Thanks

To get full credit for the chain you don’t have to go from one side of the trailer to the other. You can go back to the same side. Basically as long as the chain makes a full loop.
    Keep up the good videos!

That's educational. I sort of knew about permits and so forth, but never put two and two together. Now I understand why I sometimes see huge loads moving through unexpected areas. It never really bugged me or anything, but I have wondered why the driver chose -this- particular route. Now I know; the driver did not choose -that- particular route. Anyway, as the wise man says, you can't choose the world you are in, but you can choose how you respond to it.

Yeah I could never understand why they would take me off the good Hwy to send me thru a small town. But you got to do what you got to done. Stay safe and Semper Fi.

When you were speaking about the out rigfers and placement, you mention your desire to hace one more fold out support closer to the 1st axle on the trailer. Is it something that the shop could fabricate and add to the trailer, or would it require adding structure within the fram rails as well as cominf out towards the support. Or would something like that be a DOT no no? As far as the routing, I think some may have an extremely bizzare, twisted sense of humor... or perhaps some random substance testing may be appropriate. Because I have witnessed a few extremely oversized loads in places that they truly should not be on. Thank you for anotjer awesome video, I pray that you and family have an amazing and safe weekend.🙏💜

@@mayhemsmaster5050 you could add extra outriggers but the way the fold in the pretty much cover the whole side of the trailer. So it could be done but would be awkward and possibly effect the way the existing work but it's a great idea.
Thanks for watching and a great comment! Stay tuned I have some really exciting news coming soon that will change the freight I'm hauling and advance the knowledge I can spread. Should be within a couple weeks.

Just watched the intro. Noticed that that doesn't have to airbag dump. Is that a new one? I don't understand why they don't have it.

Boy--what these people in these permit offices don't understand is the added stress/strain not only on you, but on that trcuk also. What if you lose that drive shaft in the middle of some small town?? What about the extra wear/tear on the clutch ??

Other then OHIO how are you getting permitted drive weights that are over 48k? I know OH will give a lot but I didn’t think any other surrounding states would go over 46k? Anyway just curious, love the vids bro

@@scottreed5460 I'm not..lol that scale ticket was before I moved the thing back alittle. I'm with you can't get more than 46 anywhere but ohio it seems and even ohio appears to be stingy with it.

I have a similar issue actually. I normally will use ear buds when watching videos. When Mr. Bret does the intro, showing and talking about the load, securement etc both ear buds function properly. But if Mr. Bret does commentary in the cab/bunk area only one of the speakers function... I think it may have something to do with where he places his external mic. But I noticed if its on one side or the other, I think may have some affect. Granted I am nit a "sound guy" and have absolutely zero idea how any of it works.

@@PatriotSpecialized Ok, Mrs. Mayhem for the win! Per Mrs. Mayhem as I was thinking aloud this morning, she was wondering, when you are outside if Ghost the audio is fine, but it's when you are in the cab of the truck is when the gremlin arises. Could it be possible that the CB, ELD, or perhaps one of the electronic systems that operate in the cab could possibly interrupt the frequency/frequencies with the mic or the receiver, possibly causing a portion of a channel or the channel, causing an interruption when you record in the cab?
