1.. Fearless Undead Machines 2.. Children Of The Morge 3.. Ghostly White 4.. As The Weird Travel On 5.. Luck Of The Corpse 6.. Supernation Addiction I only own those 6. Great video by the way! Thank you!
This video apeared listed on my youtube home page and I was surprised to not recognise the channel since I thought I already knew about most of the ones that talk about the sorts of metal I like. That was a great rundown of the discography of this truly awesome band. I first discovered them when Fearless Undead machines came out, and a local radio DJ played a bunch of the songs, including of course, "Silent Creature" (THE WALKING DEAAAD!")...I was sixteen or seventeen at the time and I was just hooked. Now I've seen them live a bunch of times and even played a couple of gigs with them in my former band. Terrific albums all across the board, and a wonderful live band. I'm glad you singled out and talked a bit about Blueprints for madness -- though it's maybe less melodic than some of their albums there's just this utterly insane feeling about it that rules. I also think the production is very unusual for a death metal band, and your'e right, it does lend it a bit more of a punk feel at times. The music feels out of control and King is smashing the hell out of those drums. Favourite album? Well, I do tend to really love heavy metal, thrash, etc, and I'm going to say the period from Fearless to As the Weird Travel On is like the "golden years" for me. But Ghostly White is indeed incredible. Still have to get the newest one, but what I listened to online i thought sounded excellent. I'll certainly subscribe. Curious to see what bands you choose to talk about in the future, and also to comb through some of the earlier videos.
So glad you didn't say "...so you don't have to..." Great Job KAIYA, as always. This is why Jdawg has enlisted you to help the world discover Attic and some of the other bands playing Dead by Dawg Fest. If you have not, please check out the in depth 5 hour interview of King Fowley of Deceased on The Tampa Morgue Podcast. Keep up the good work homegirl!🎉 💊🧪🧊⚡🔥🥚🦖
Thank you!! I really appreciate it 🙏 Definitely going to check it out. I’m hoping to interview King Fowley at some point although I haven’t touched base with Jdawg about it yet. New Attic dive will be coming in October for Moshtober/Halloween!
Good choice putting the spotlight on Deceased... I only have 1 of their albums - 'The Blueprints for madness'... and I recall it was a great record but I never picked up anything else, despite the fact that they are from the Washington DC area, where I came from, and they have a solid reputation... Dying Fetus, Clutch, Deceased, Darkest Hour... came from the Delmarva region (Delaware/ Maryland/ Virginia) area around Washington, DC... Deceased doesn't tour much but they play the DC area regularly - recently on Sept 1... Like Incantation, they don't focus on touring that much... I heard that King Fowley had a stroke in 2004 and his health issues led him to focusing only on Deceased's vocals... Definitely the real deal in metal! 🤘🤘
In 1997 we didn't have Zombie fatigue, so his concept album about a zombie apocalypse was a bit more of a fresh idea than it is now. It's only in hindsight that people can say 'this is a boring and tired idea'. So I think that gives Deceased a pass there haha.
Fearless was my first album, still my favorite hard to say what would go next Deceased really does no wrong. Plus a fun band to see live. Always high energy.
Deceased… is an incredible band. They’ve become a household name for us. Because Hells accidentally sent Supernatural Addiction a couple times. My man, his 2 daughters & I all have our own copies lol
But, I like the album art for Ghostly White. Actually I like album art for all their albums. SOMEONE NEEDS TO GET ON PUTTING RM OUT ON PICTURE DISC. WINK WINK WINK WINK WINK *Cough* Hells *Cough* 😂😂😂
ImaKaiya, ... some underrated band are Lost in Thought and Isurus. Lost in Thought /Renascense and Isurus/ Logocharya. Now, these bands are on the progressive side of the metal universe. It is a subgenre i got to appreciate over time. Then again, .... my musical taste spans from Beethoven to Sia (first three c.d's.) to Threshold to Epica to Fleshgod Apocalypse to Death to Origin. It's broad to begin with. So, in short... have you ever listened to Lost in Time and Isurus? I hope so.
Great video. Deceased have been one of my favorite bands for a couple of decades. 'Fearless Undead Machines' is my favorite. But 'As The Weird Travel On' and 'Ghostly White' are close seconds. The new album is great too. I do really love the lyrics and concepts. i often play Deceased at work with my earphones on and love the stories on the albums.
Supernatural is my fave.... undead machines is toooooo long imo ..exhausting ... great though .... I need to get physical copies of a lot of these albums ..
@@StarsDie88 well, knowledge in metal comes with time. In 80s and 90s you read fanzines, later on you read webzines , but not this generation reads nothing. I know. She just use google facts and thats it . Even her comparisons to other bands Are 100% incorrect.

Thanks for giving Deceased props! That's my big bald head bouncing up and down in the live footage!
Criminally underrated is correct!! Such a great discography. I highly recommend you watch them live. Great video and review Hun. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Yeah 1997 it wasn't a tired idea.
The Luck of the Corpse album cover still scares me to death
Is awesome!
From the Black Sabath movie.
What is your favorite Deceased album? Thanks for watching and have an amazing day!
Supernatural addiction
Yup, their last 2 albums probably are their best. Which is crazy considering how long they've been around.
I start the video and hear "most criminally underrated metal bands" and I hit like. Way too much of a factual statement.
Wow, thanks for the recommendation! Checked out the new one today and I am obsessed!-Will definitely dive into the rest of his music this weekend!
Love to see you enjoy some Deceased, a long time favorite of mine. Children Of The Morgue will definitely be in my top 5 this year.
Deceased are great. FUM was my first exposure to them back in the late 90's. Been a fan ever since.
Fearless was my first album, still my favorite hard to say what would go next Deceased really does no wrong. Plus a fun band to see live. Always high energy.
Got to meet King at a Kiss show last year🤘🏼
' The Blueprints For Madness' is my favorite Deceased album (also one of my favorite album covers). 'Fearless Undead Machines ' is a close second.
Thanks! Wanted to check out Deceased for a long time which is now.
2 years ago you never listend to metal now you listen to it al the time respect

DECEASED .Great band with awesome discography, but this reviewer girl knows nothing about metal . Just randomly googled some facts. Z generation.
But yet you came on here to watch and comment, cool lol.
What makes you think she doesn't know anything about metal?
So in order to like a band you have to know every little detail about the band? Get the fuck out of here with that gatekeeping bull shit.

@@jonaskazlauskas9084 Practically everything she says here is facts so idk wtf you're talking about.
Deceased are one of the all time great metal bands.
